On July 5th, Zhaosu County officially released the first rainbow forecast through the WeChat WeChat official account "Zhaosu Weather", which realized the first release of the rainbow forecast to the public in China.

Krishna Kumari, deputy director of the Meteorological Bureau of Zhaosu County, said that rainbow forecasting, in a sense, is thunderstorm forecasting, which belongs to a small and medium-sized weather system, with small influence range, short time, rapid evolution and great difficulty in forecasting rainbows.

Wang Xiurong, chief meteorological service expert of China Meteorological Bureau, said in a telephone interview: "At present, there is no precedent for commercial release of rainbow forecast in China. Zhaosu Meteorological Bureau solved the problem of rainbow forecast and provided scientific basis and reference for future rainbow forecast research in China. " She also said that after many special discussions, it is certain that Zhaosu is one of the places with the highest frequency and the largest number of rainbows in China.

It is understood that, as one of the first national tourism demonstration zones, Zhaosu County has successively built business cards such as "the hometown of gastrodia elata in China" and "the hometown of rape in China" in recent years.
