What are the difficult and remote areas designated by the state?

There are six categories of difficult and remote areas stipulated by the state, and the degree of hardship and remoteness gradually decreases from category one to category six. There are 379 Category I districts, 342 Category II districts, 131 Category III districts, 85 Category IV districts, 35 Category V districts and 12 Category VI districts.
