According to incomplete statistics, meteorological disasters in the province affected 2.2635 million people, 39 people died (including lightning disaster death 19 people), 2 people were missing, and the direct economic loss was 3.67 billion yuan. Comprehensive analysis shows that in 2009, the climate in Fujian Province was normal and meteorological disasters were light.
