May 2nd. Go to Badaling. While driving around the four-lane road, I felt that there was no such severe traffic jam, perhaps because of the long May Day holiday. But when I got to the overpass of Badaling Expressway, I realized what it was like to be stuck in a traffic jam. It was about a little more than a kilometer before the Lishu Interchange, and we walked for about 40 minutes. After this period, the traffic is no longer blocked, but there are a lot of cars bumping into each other on the roadside, almost one or two every one kilometer, reminding us from time to time not only to pay attention to the front, but also to pay attention to the situation behind. When we were about to enter Jiangsu, we were almost running out of gas. We went to the first exit in Jiangsu to fill up with unleaded gasoline as we had originally decided. It seemed to be called Shuyang. After going down, I asked the toll collector where the nearest gas station was, and he said it was less than 2 kilometers away. Following the direction he pointed, I found a gas station without much effort, but there was no gas. Asked the staff and was told that there is a gas station less than 2 kilometers ahead and every 2 kilometers. But who knows, after exiting the toll gate, there is a gas station, but all the rooms are empty, and all 12 gas pumps have no refueling barrels. It is obviously a gas station that has not been built or has been abandoned. Disappointed, I could only head towards Huai'an, hoping for good luck. We walked forward for 15 kilometers, but we didn’t see a gas station. Instead, we encountered someone who blocked the road and asked for money. We were charged 20 yuan for going back and forth. When I was paying for it, I thought that I should put up a sign at such a toll gate, saying "I drove this mountain and built this road. If you want to pass by, please leave the money to buy the road." Finally, we found what looked like a private gas station, filled up the gas and returned to the highway along the original route.

I saw tourist buses constantly getting off the highway in search of gas stations along the way. The most common one was the empty gas station next to the highway exit, where many cars were parked without direction.

Tip: Unleaded gasoline is rarely available on highways throughout Jiangsu, especially in northern Jiangsu. Only some gas stations near Jiangsu Province have a small amount of supply. The entire Jiangsu section of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway we passed through supplies No. 93 ethanol gasoline (E93). In general, we did not visit all the famous attractions in Hangzhou and Suzhou. Some of the reasons were because the tickets were too expensive, but some were because the itinerary was not arranged well. Reasonable.

A two-day trip to Hangzhou is too short, three days is more suitable. The following is a personal review route

Day 1: One-day trip around West Lake. The scenic spots around the West Lake from south to north include Lei Feng Sunset, Fish Watching at Huagang, Su Causeway, Wind Lotuses in Quyuan, Yue Temple, Broken Bridge with Remaining Snow, and Orioles Singing on the Willow Bank.
