About the origin of Lingshan

During the Zhou Dynasty, there was a woman surnamed Wang in Zhaoyuan, whose name was Shu Niang. Her parents died when she was a child, and she was raised by her elder sister-in-law. Later, she was sold to a vendor in Xiajinjiawan Village of Lingshan and raised as a daughter-in-law. However, she is so ugly that 18 years old is not married. She leads a hard life in her husband's family, but her efforts are not recognized. Her husband's family also criticized her in every way, and was ridiculed, abused and abused by her husband's family. But Shu Niang has a kind heart and won the praise of her neighbors.

One day, she went to Lingshan to fetch water. On her way back, she met a man wearing a white robe and riding a white horse and asked her for water to drink the horse. She agreed generously. This man said to her, "You are the Emperor of Heaven, and the Jade Emperor asked me to tell you that on April 15th, you saw a cloud on the top of Lingshan Mountain, and that was your former subordinate family welcoming you to become an immortal. Please remember. " Then take out a green towel and let her wipe the sweat. Cinderella took the green towel and wiped it, but the ugly girl turned over and immediately appeared, looking like a fairy.
