Why did Liu Bei get Wolong River and Feng Chu instead of the world, but give it up?

First, there are differences in time, space and yin and yang in counselors' aspirations.

In The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, there are four counselors with unusual relationships: Cheng Yu, Xu Shu, Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong. They not only had contact with Mr. Si Mahui, a water mirror, but also claimed to be "ten times" different in talent and knowledge. In fact, Liu Bei's half-brother, Zhuge's half-brother, Cao Cao's half-brother (Xiahou), Sun Shi's father and brother, and Sima family all belong to the same alumni group. It's just that cooperation is loose and intangible, and it is limited to promoting philosophy from Neo-Legalism to Neo-Confucianism, and then to the spiritual level of Confucianism and Legalism.

Their so-called "ten times" difference is mainly reflected in: First, the time difference. High-level people are often far-sighted, can hold their breath, and debut late. The order of appearance of the four of them is also Yu, Shu, Liang and Tong. Second, spatial differences. Experts often have strong control ability and large management scope, so there is a saying that there are talents in ten miles, talents in a hundred miles and talents in a thousand miles. Their initial achievements were indeed so. Cheng Yu takes Dong 'e County, Xu Shu takes Fancheng, Zhuge Liang takes Jingzhou, and Pang Tong takes surprisingly.

But we will soon find that the lifelong achievements of Cheng Yu and Zhuge Liang are far greater than those of Xu Shu and Pang Tong. What is the reason? It turns out that there is a third difference between them-the difference between yin and yang. The "ten times" mentioned above are superficial graduation exam results, which we can call ingenuity or conspiracy. However, in actual combat, there will still be people who violate loyalty, filial piety and faith, and use tactics or conspiracy. Of the four, Tong and Shu are good at plotting, while Liang and Yu are good at plotting, among which Liang is superior to Yu. People who focus on conspiracy are often loyal and obedient, while those who are good at conspiracy are often rebellious.

What needs to be explained here is that "usurping the inverse" is a scourge to the rulers, but it is an indispensable yin and yang to the "nation", that is, metabolism. Only points are reasonable and unreasonable. Moreover, all is fair in war, and Sun Tzu even said that his public plan was a trick, so Yin and Yang, like loyal ministers' rebellion, have no advantages or disadvantages in themselves. The key lies in balanced mastery and rational use. Accurately speaking, conspiracy belongs to the category of mental attack. In feudal society, conspiracy can not be learned from teachers and books, but only by self-knowledge and independent research and development. But once you have it, you can win by surprise and change your destiny. Cheng Yu and Zhuge Liang stand out in the rankings because of their comprehensive strategies.

Pang Tong was completely loyal to Liu Bei from the beginning. He went to stay, in order to compete with Zhuge Liang and Xu Shu, seize Chibi and save Liu. So as soon as Battle of Red Cliffs was over, Pang Tong went directly to vote for Liu Bei. In order not to embarrass Liu Bei, he is willing to start from the bottom and is not in a hurry to show letters of recommendation from Lu Su and Kong Ming. Sure enough, Liu Bei was conquered in Leiyang, and Kong Ming had to admit that Pang Tong was ten times taller than himself.

It can also be seen from this incident that if Pang Tong really wants to join someone's team, he can always find a way. Don't even have the ability to enter the door, and dare to be called "Feng Chu"? I thought Cao Cao's water village could come and go at will. He collided with Sun Quan during an "interview" in Wu Dong, just to escape so as not to offend people.

As for Zhuge Liang, the author has discussed in detail in the article "Cracking the Pattern of the Three Kingdoms and Five Parties". Before he came out of the mountain, he had the ambition to fight with Liu Bei and win the world. This is also the obscure meaning that "everyone asked what Kongming wanted, but Kongming just laughed and didn't answer". But the rebellion of their four brothers is completely reasonable, so I won't go into details here. Second, Zhuge Liang invited Pang Tong first, and then wanted to abolish Pang Tong.

Zhuge Liang can help Liu Bei win Jingzhou, but he can't do anything in the face of surprisingly strong people and dangerous places. I don't know how to persuade Liu Bei, a hypocrite, to usurp Liu Zhang, and I dare not fight another Battle of Red Cliffs for surprisingly. So he took the opportunity of mourning for Zhou Yu to go to Soochow and invited Pang Tong who was better than himself. (There is also a layer of Kong Ming's meaning, that is, he will continue to abide by his relatives in front of Liu Jiazong, so as to cover up his disloyal ambitions and maintain his image of being foolish and loyal. After that, one of them guarded Jingzhou, the other attacked Xichuan, and at the same time became Liu Bei's right-hand man.

Pang Tong is indeed more talented than Kongming. He realized that Liu Bei had to pretend to be benevolent when he took Jingzhou, because he wanted to win the favor of Liu Zhang in the future, but when he came to Liu Zhang, he could completely "force the palace". Theoretically, he easily persuaded Liu Bei with only four words: "Be patient". In martial arts, he only used Huang Zhong and Wei Yan, two "post-generals" that Kong Ming didn't want, and achieved a breakthrough in surprise.

Unexpectedly, however, when everything had to be settled, things took a turn for the better, and Kong Ming sent a death threat letter to Pang Tong. This move is similar to Cheng Yu's trick of tricking Xu Shu into opening a weather forecast for Datong and more cities. Cheng Yu took advantage of Xu Shu's filial piety, first hijacked Xu Mu, and then surrendered Xu Shu. Zhuge Liang used Pang Tong's loyalty to Liu Bei and Liu Bei's love for Pang Tong to shake Liu Bei's heart first and then destroy Pang Tong. Two conspirators, like volleyball players, buckle the ball between the other two people, forcing them to make mistakes when making concessions.

The thing is this: Peng Yang, a Guanghan, told Liu Bei that the enemy wanted to stop Wei Yan and Huang Zhong's former strongholds from flooding the Fujiang River. He said, "The star is in the west, and Taibai is here. You should be careful when something bad happens. " This information not only saved tens of thousands of lives of Liu Bei, but also killed the enemy mastermind, turning evil into good.

So who created this life-threatening danger? It's Liu Bei. Chuanjiang Lingbao was captured alive by Wei Yan, but Liu Bei insisted on releasing him. Wei Yan said, "This man can't be put back. If you run away, you will never come again. " Liu Bei said: "I treat people with kindness and righteousness, and people don't live up to me." At the forefront of life and death, at the critical moment when advantages have not yet been established, it is ridiculous to abuse benevolence and righteousness without combining with reality. Since benevolence and righteousness can be replaced by benevolence and righteousness, is it necessary to do the opposite? Since benevolence can be exchanged for benevolence, why didn't Cao Cao give you an inch of land? It can be seen that Liu Bei has fallen from a Confucian to a fool, and the genetic disease of the Liu family has broken out. It's not the Xuande who distinguished righteousness and righteousness when dealing with Cao Cao. If it weren't for Peng Yang's help this time, Pang Tong would have fallen short.

The very next day, Zhuge Liang sent a letter from Ma Liang, saying, "A bright night is great. This year, the stars are in the west and Luocheng is too white. " There is a lot of bad luck in general. Be careful. Zhuge Liang put forward a second explanation for the same astrology. Pang Tong scoffed at Zhuge Liang's "goodwill" and further put forward a third explanation: "Unification has gone too far. It is known that the stars are in the west, so we should get along with the west and not do evil. Unity also illustrates astronomy. Seeing that it is too white in Luocheng, it is an ominous sign to cut the bud first. Your master has no doubt, but he can rush into the army. "Is really an image, three statements. Third, Pang Tong saw through Liu Bei and decided to give way to death.

The discord between dragon and phoenix made Liu Bei suspicious. On the one hand, he cherishes Pang Tong, a superior counselor, and on the other hand, he trusts Zhuge Liang, an unpredictable figure. In order to be sure, Liu Bei decided to retreat to Jingzhou. The next day, he used his dream to persuade Pang Tong, saying, "I dreamed of a man of God at night who hit my right arm with an iron bar in his hand, and when he came, he felt his arm hurt. This trip is not good? " Pang Tong, who has always been brave and unbelieving, can't stand this kind of words and deeds. He only replied: "It is natural for a strong man to shrink from cold feet and not die or hurt. Why do you doubt dreams? " He added, "Your master has been puzzled by Kong Ming. He didn't want reunification to be a great success, so he pretended to doubt his master's heart. Doubt leads to dreams. What are the disadvantages? Only the combination of liver and brain can be called a real heart. Master, don't say anything more. Come early. " How well you speak. You are brave, loyal and materialistic, not as knowledgeable as a greedy villain. But just as Pang Tong made this generous speech, his loyalty plummeted-he no longer wanted to work for Liu Bei. Liu Bei is stupid, righteous and trustworthy now, and there is nothing to recommend.

It is particularly worth mentioning that astrology, which frequently appears in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, seems to Luo Guanzhong to be a kind of magic that confuses people, or it is a strategy. Peng Yang first analyzed the geography of Fujiang River, fearing that Liu Bei wouldn't believe it, he told it in combination with the astrology. Pang Tong used astrology as a psychological hint to enhance his belief in winning. If astrology can really predict the future, why didn't Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong predict the danger of Fujiang? They are not as good as Peng Yang?

Generally speaking, the counselors in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms rarely swear to mention "death" or related words, and once mentioned, it is possible to have a motive for death. For example, when Guo Jia was in the Northern Expedition, he said to Cao Cao, "I feel that I owe a lot to the Prime Minister, but I can't report my death." Pang Tong here, like Guo Jia, is deliberately rebellious and seemingly loyal. And they all chose the latter between personal life and death and the future of the country. Guo Jia doesn't know what kind of person Liu Bei is, but at least he can be sure that his new Confucianism is ahead of Cao Cao's new legalist school. So is Pang Tong. Although we are not sure about Zhuge Liang's specific actions in the future, we can at least be sure that his "Confucianism" is higher than Liu Bei's Neo-Confucianism and has more room for future development.

Pang Tong, adhering to the virtue of loyalty and righteousness, never wanted to usurp the world, so he wanted to give way to Kong Ming. I saw that Pang Tong, like a floor gymnast, had a wonderful "return" temporarily when she had to make an emergency stop because of too much forward momentum. Actions can be divided into: 1. In order to protect the dignity of soldiers, it is better to be buried by a horse than to be a deserter. Supposedly, Pang Tong could choose to retire to save his life at this time, but he didn't. This is also the biggest difference between him and Liu Bei. Second, in order not to influence Zhuge Liang, he simply blamed Liu Bei for his own death. Why did his horse suddenly lose its hoof after riding for a long time? Did he also start to be suspicious and afraid of death, and his emotions affected the horse? Don't! He saw that Liu Bei was superstitious about these things, so he also played a trick of lifting himself down to urge Liu Bei to change horses with him in order to care about him. After riding on Liu Bei's white horse, he not only died quickly, but also blamed his own fault on Liu Bei. So Liu Bei won't be angry with Kong Ming. He dreamed that the man of God hit him on the arm, indicating that he was a little suspicious of Kongming subconsciously, and only Kongming was a man of God in his heart. Thirdly, he chose to die in Phoenix Slope, which in turn comforted Liu Bei, who was doomed to die. You don't have to blame yourself too much. 4. Why did Pang Tong repeatedly expose Zhuge Liang's letter out of jealousy? Why March on a path with trees, but put Wei Yan at the front at a distance? Can't even shoot a chicken. What's the use of staying in a more dangerous back team? Can't you walk next to Wei Yan? It turns out that Pang Tong wanted to show his colleague Zhuge Liang that I am willing to give up my job and make way for you, instead of dying in your hands, and I am not unaware of your evil intentions.

Thus, Kong Ming is not the person directly responsible for Pang Tong's death. If there is any connection, it is that Kong Mingxian launched a long-range self-attack missile, but Pang Tong immediately intercepted it accurately. The real function of the missile is to let Pang Tong discover Liu Beiyu's cowardice and his foolish loyalty beyond benevolence and folly, and then strengthen his determination to resist the Lord-Pang Tong dived into the water in response to the sound of bullets.

In fact, Pang Tong, a super counselor who can command hordes, can't let go of him if he doesn't want to commit suicide, even a counselor who is taller than him is difficult. Even if you can't win, you can protect yourself, not to mention an unknown Sichuan general, Zhang Ren. For example, Zhuge Liang can always escape in front of Sima Yi, who is two levels higher than him.

Who would have thought that the cowardly way to die with an arrow through the chest and scratching the ground turned out to be a well-planned way of suicide by a generation of Feng Chu? What behavioral language in the world can better show the stupidity of wisdom and sacrifice one's life for righteousness? There is no doubt that Pang Tong was the only person who got through the Shu Road at that time, but before dawn, he resolutely handed the baton to Kong Ming, who was less talented and more ambitious.

Luo Guanzhong's fatalism method is authentic. On the surface, the three explanations of astrology seem to have come true in the end, but they are all artificially manipulated. Therefore, modern people no longer need to be curious about stars! Fourth, Kongming repaired himself with the same attitude and perfected Sima's world.

Great minds think alike, so why can't Kong Ming rediscover his old friend Pang Tong's broad mind? Hardly had he dried his tears when he entered Sichuan at full speed. At the same time, Liu Cai took a substantial step: mobilizing Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun, leaving Guan Yu alone to guard Jingzhou, so as to break the brother chain between Liu Bei and Guan Yu. Finally, Zhuge Liang not only failed to live up to Pang Tong's expectations, but also destroyed Liu Zhang and Liu Bei successively, and also implemented a new policy of "mixing Confucianism with Confucianism" which was more advanced than Liu Han's "benevolent government" in Xichuan. More importantly, when Zhuge Liang later encountered the same dilemma, he followed Pang Tong's example and chose to yield to reason: Shu Han, who was loyal to the Ming Dynasty, secretly surrendered to Sima Yi. And decisively handed over the last stick in the alumni team. For a long time, people have been wondering why Bay got a phoenix in Yilong, but there is still no peace in the world. It turned out that he only touched the Phoenix Maolong Angle and never really got it. In Lapras, only Si Mazhao has the ability to drive the Phoenix. Remember Wargo's stammer: "Phoenix is like a phoenix, so it is a phoenix"? Do you still remember Zhong Hui sensing Zhuge Liang in Dingjun Mountain? This indicates that Wargo is a Pang Tong-style phoenix, and Zhong Hui is a Kongming-style dragon, which is also loyalty and rebellion. As the saying goes: the dragon and the phoenix are auspicious, and the master of the world is not!
