The research report on the theme of "rainstorm and flood disaster" includes (1. Research motivation II. Research purposes 3. Research method 4. Research content 5. Research experience) Thanks in advance! All kinds of natural disasters occur frequently all over the world. In China, there are many kinds of natural disasters, which threaten the survival of human beings, causing a large number of casualties and the destruction of homes. Far away, just say my hometown!

My hometown is beautiful and rich Dongguan, where people are outstanding and mountains and rivers are beautiful. However, many natural disasters have befallen this lovely place. There are often typhoons here, as well as natural disasters such as cold dew wind, high temperature, rainstorm and flood, low temperature and rainy weather, and late spring cold. These disasters also occur from time to time in China. Dongguan is a frequent area, mainly because of its geographical location.

In Dongguan, the most common is rainstorm and flood. Heavy rain refers to rain with high precipitation intensity. Daily rainfall (20-20 hours) greater than 49.9 mm is defined as rainstorm. Rainstorm is the direct factor leading to flood disaster. On a global scale, there are different levels of storms and floods every year, and there are different levels of storms and floods in China every year.

Our city is in the southeast of our country, belonging to the subtropical monsoon region, with low terrain and close to the ocean. Therefore, there is a lot of humid air flow from the ocean, and there is a steady stream of water vapor transportation and accumulation, which provides a very large condition for the formation of heavy rain. Dongguan, located in the Pearl River Delta, although rivers crisscross in most areas, due to many factors such as urban construction, cases of waterlogging caused by heavy rain have occurred from time to time. One of the reasons is that the rainfall in this area is concentrated in the rainy season, with high rainfall intensity, and there is precipitation above the continuous rainstorm, which makes the low-lying areas flooded and become a disaster; Second, affected by the typhoon, the wind and rain are fierce. If it coincides with the spring tide, the coastal dikes will overflow or burst.

There are many typical cases of rainstorm disaster in Dongguan in modern times. For example, on April 25, 2005, the hourly rainfall reached 109mm, breaking the historical record, causing many houses to be flooded and cars to be flooded. On August 19, 2005, affected by the high altitude trough and the northward movement of intertropical convergence zone in the South China Sea, most towns and villages in our city were hit by the strongest precipitation this year except Humen, Shatian and Mayong. The precipitation measured by Shilong Meteorological Automatic Station (from 9: 00 on August 19 to 8: 00 on the 20th) is 366 mm, which is the second largest daily precipitation in our city's history, second only to 60. The rain, the main street of Shilong town, Greening Road and Hexinglong Road, suffered serious flooding. The water depth of the street is about 50 cm. Shops along the street were flooded, some items were damaged and traffic was blocked. At about 10 in the morning, the water level in most streets gradually decreased.

In the face of this disastrous weather, the municipal party committee and the municipal government attached great importance to it, and made full mental preparation, strong defensive measures and effective emergency rescue measures to fight the disasters caused by the rainstorm. On the basis of completing the standard construction of Dongguan levee, Guaying Zhou Wei and small reservoirs on time and with good quality, our city has also launched a new round of water conservancy disaster prevention and mitigation projects, focusing on the construction of dikes and drainage stations, with a total investment estimate of171700 million yuan. The city plans to invest 875 million yuan to complete 135 projects, with 242.69 kilometers of river embankments, 45 new, rebuilt or reinforced sluices, 27 new or rebuilt drainage stations, new installed capacity 18365 kilowatts, and improved irrigation area1kloc-0/2400 mu.

In order to make people's livelihood in Dongguan more comfortable and feel more at home, I would like to put forward some suggestions and my own ideas:

(1) Build high-rise steps to prevent water from infiltrating into family houses.

There are many kinds of trees beside the street and a beautiful green belt.

③ Open more underground passages, educate people's thoughts, dredge the passages, do not block the passages, and do not throw garbage into the passages.

④ Land management of floodplain;

⑤ Establish flood warning system;

⑥ Formulate emergency evacuation plans and countermeasures for residents; Implement flood control insurance, etc.
