Witnessing the tragedy of the battle between man and bird, Wang let the society and the competent authorities know the real situation of Caohai, and called for more social forces to protect the birds and natural resources of Caohai. Tang, an engineer in Caohai Nature Reserve, and Li Ruoxian, the stationmaster of Caohai Ecological Station of Guizhou Academy of Sciences, were invited to jointly write the article "Caohai Black-necked Crane is Calling for Help", which was published in Guizhou Daily 1989 on February 27th.
