Jiyuan is a county-level city in Henan Province. Located in the northwest of Henan Province. Jiyuan production-city integration demonstration zone is the first global production-city integration demonstration zone supported by the National Development and Reform Commission. Jiyuan, named after the birthplace of Jishui, has a warm temperate monsoon climate, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. Jiyuan is a national health city, a global tourism demonstration zone, a national production-city integration demonstration zone, a national civilized city, a national garden city, a national greening model city, a national water-saving city, a national soil and water conservation ecological civilized city, a national sustainable development experimental zone, a Chinese living environment model award, and a China international business environment construction demonstration city.

Jiyuan city is high in the north and low in the south. In the north is Taihang Mountain, with towering peaks and steep cliffs. There are mountains in the west and north, hills in the south and southeast, and plains in the middle and east. The highest peak is Douding, with an altitude of1955m; Mount Tiantan, the main peak of Wuwang, is1715m above sea level. There are 100 rivers, mainly the Yellow River, Jishui River, Qinhe River and Mang River, and there is also a large-scale irrigation project, Gong Yu Canal. It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with an annual average temperature of 14.5℃, an annual average precipitation of 567.9mm, an annual average wind speed of 1.6m/s and an annual average relative humidity of 68%.
