What country is Hiroshima?

Hiroshima belongs to Japan.

Hiroshima is located in the southwest of Honshu, Japan, and the south of Hiroshima faces the Seto Inland Sea, forming Hiroshima Bay. In the center of the city, the downtown area of Hiroshima was formed on the delta alluvial at the mouth of Lany River in Thailand. The delta center of Lany has also become the Hiroshima Plain, surrounded by the western and northern parts of the city, and the eastern part has become a hilly area. In addition, the name "Hiroshima" is generally derived from the topography of its delta.

The traffic between Hiroshima and Songshan, located on the other side of Seto Inland Sea, is very developed, so most people living around Songshan will go shopping in Hiroshima. There are also many excellent tourist spots near Hiroshima, such as the Golden Belt Bridge in Iwakuni, which was built in 1673 and has a total length of 193 meters. It is one of the three famous bridges in Japan. There are three Gorges in the north of Hiroshima and Tanglai Hot Springs in the west, all of which are very distinctive.

Climatic characteristics of Japan

Japan has a temperate maritime monsoon climate, which is mild and humid all year round. One of the main features of climate is that the temperature changes obviously in four seasons. Japan spans about 25 latitudes from north to south. It is influenced by Siberian monsoon in winter and Pacific monsoon in summer. Although Japan is small, it has four different climate characteristics. Hokkaido belongs to the sub-arctic climate type, with an average annual temperature of only 9.45℃ and an average annual precipitation of about1205 mm.

From northeastern Honshu to Kyushu, the area near the Pacific Ocean belongs to temperate zone, and it is very hot in summer due to the influence of monsoon from the Pacific Ocean. The wet and cold monsoon blowing from the mainland is blocked by the central Alps and other mountains in central Japan, resulting in a lot of rain and snow on the side facing the Sea of Japan.
