The total solar eclipse on August 1 day in 2008 began at about 8: 20 Beijing time. The eclipse is divided into 1.039, and the longest duration of the total eclipse is 2 minutes and 27 seconds. It can be seen in northeastern North America, Europe and parts of Asia, including northern Canada, Greenland, Novosibirsk, Mongolia, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Gansu Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Shaanxi Province, Shanxi Province and Henan Province in China.
