The three brands of Zhongshan Huangpu Bacon are Taihe Bacon, Jin Rong Bacon and Yin Hua Bacon.

Zhongshan Huangpu bacon is a food created by a local named Wang Hong more than 30 years ago, and it has developed to this day. Huangpu bacon is now a national geographical indication product. There are more than 100 bacon production enterprises in Huangpu Town, Zhongshan City. Three brands with a long history are Taihe Bacon, Jin Rong Bacon and Yin Hua Bacon.

Huangpu bacon originated in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty and was made by Wang Liansheng, the owner of Huangpu folk snack workshop, using local raw materials and unique craftsmanship. Huangpu bacon, a typical representative of Cantonese-style bacon, has experienced arduous development. It is made of local raw materials and various traditional manual techniques, with good color, fragrance and taste.

Huangpu Town, located in the north of Zhongshan City on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta, is located in the subtropical monsoon climate, with mild and humid sunshine, no severe cold weather and mild and dry winter.
