Brief introduction of 56 southern Guangdong sages in Guangfu culture
After two years, the introduction and description of the first batch of 56 statues of sages have been finalized recently. After the previous publicity for comments, the number of selected sages increased from the initial 50 to 55, and now to 56, with an increase of 6, namely, Zhou Dunyi, Qiu Zhuo, Weng Wanda, Su and Wu.
The first batch of sages who entered the museum mainly took "the main activities of their lives occurred before the Revolution of 1911" as the time standard, and they made important contributions to the construction of South Guangdong in the political, military, cultural and economic fields respectively.

1, Zhao tuo (? ~ Former 137): Founder of South Vietnam. Qin Zhending (now Zhengding, Hebei) was born.
2. Yang Fu (1 to the 2nd century): the first Lingnan scholar with a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation in history. Panyu (now Haizhu District of Guangzhou) was born in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

8. Han Yu (768 ~ 824) was born in Tang Heyang (now Meng County, Henan Province). He was demoted to Guangdong twice, promoted learning and education, and changed customs, which had a far-reaching impact on Lingnan culture and education.

12, Su Shi (1038 ~110/): Born in Meishan, Jiazhou, Northern Song Dynasty (now Meishan, Sichuan). From the official to the minister of rites, he was relegated to Lingnan for 6 years, and there is a saying that "he will not hesitate to be a Lingnan person".
13, Choi Woo-shik (1 158 ~ 1239): a native of Zengcheng, Guangdong. He lived in Guangzhou in his later years and founded the first academic school "Jupo School" in Lingnan history.
14, Wen Tianxiang (1236 ~ 1283): a native of Luling, Jizhou (now Ji 'an, Jiangxi). Transfer troops to fight against Yuan, and move to Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi and Hunan. Defeated and captured, when crossing the Pearl River Estuary, he wrote the famous sentence "Who has not died since ancient times, leaving a heart to shine on history."

19, Weng Wanda (1498 ~ 1552): a native of Tuojiang, Jieyang, Guangdong (now Shantou, click to view the weather forecast of Shantou and more cities, jinping district). The folks in Southeast Asia are called "brave emperors".
20. Hai Rui (15 13 ~ 1587): Born in Qiongshan, Guangdong (now Haikou, Hainan). Hui nationality. The official went to Nanjing to click on the weather forecast for Nanjing and more cities. People praised it as "Haitian".

23. Qu Dajun (1630 ~ 1696): a native of Panyu, Guangdong. "Guangdong Newspeak" in the early Qing Dynasty was the first of the "three great poets in Lingnan".
24. Chen Gongyin (163 1 ~ 1700): a native of Shunde, Guangdong. He was one of the "three great poets in Lingnan" in the early Qing Dynasty.
25. Xie Chen (1656 ~ 17 18): Guangdong Haikang (now Leizhou). He used to be the magistrate of Taiwan Province Province, the governor of Fujian and the governor of Fujian and Zhejiang.
