Wulaofeng is one of the most famous peaks in Lushan Mountain, located 9 kilometers southeast of Guling Street, with the main peak 1358 meters above sea level. Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, once praised the Five Old Peaks: "If you travel around the world, the scenery you see is extremely wonderful and few people can pass it. It is really a wonder of the world." And wrote, "Five Old Peaks in the southeast of Lushan Mountain, Jin Furong was cut to the sky. The beautiful scenery of Jiujiang can be tied up, and I'm here.

More than ten years ago, my brother Bayi and I climbed Wulong Peak six or seven times. The last time I was with my friends was one summer five years ago. Looking back now, it is still vivid.

Five old peaks and five peaks stand side by side, shaped like five grand old people, hence the name. If you want to see the five peaks, the best place is Haihui Temple in the former Xing Zi County (now Lushan City). Looking up from here, the five old peaks look like "five old peaks", which are very realistic and have different postures. Some are like elegant poets, some are like dragon bell scholars, some are like old monks in meditation, some are like fishermen fishing, and some are like the Millennium birthday girl. They don't seem to sit and listen to the waves of Poyang Lake. In fact, what are the five peaks like? They are just like themselves. Li Bai imagined the Five Peaks as "Jin Furong". If you look at the Five Old Peaks from the front in the early morning, the peaks are like jade dyed with gold, and white clouds hover over them, just like a huge hibiscus flower, which is in harmony with the blue sky, so Li Bai has the image portrayal of "Jin Furong cuts out the blue sky".

Climb the Wulong Peak, drive from Guling Street, cross the East Valley, cross the Lulin Bridge, turn left to the Botanical Garden, 10 minutes to the mountain gate.

The gate of Wulaofeng Scenic Area is a granite stone archway with the words "Wulaofeng" written on it, and the couplets on the stone pillars on both sides are: "The sky rises from the peak, and people draw pictures", all of which were inscribed on 1985 by the late painter and professor of the Fine Arts Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.

After crossing the mountain gate, it's not far away. It's a granite stone step more than one meter wide. After climbing hundreds of steps, it's the first peak of the five old people. Here are all kinds of strange stones, a strange phenomenon. The stone bridge over there is called "Fairy Bridge", which is completely made by nature and seems to be built for immortals. Near the second peak, a four-poster pavilion stands tall, which is the symbol of the second peak.

This pavilion is called "Waiting for Sunny Pavilion". It is reported that the pavilion was built by a Fujian man named Lin Erjia in 1933. The purpose is to let tourists wait here when the clouds are thick, and when the clouds clear, they can witness the true face of Lushan Mountain with their own eyes.

There are many stone carvings on Wulaofeng, which are carefully identified, and most of them belong to works after the Qing Dynasty. Next to the "Waiting for Sunny Pavilion", there are two four-line stone carvings written by Sun Weizhen on August 25, 2005 (1936): "Five old people are neighbors, not by accident, and they have been on the Range Rover since every year. There is a good platform in the lonely pavilion and a small hole in the cliff. " "The rod quinoa blows too much smoke, and now there are many household items. I am not full of nostalgia for the past, and the title of the poem is "The White Crane Stories Dongpo". "

Near the second peak, there are five ancient caves. The boulder is engraved with the three characters "Five Old Holes". The stone wall below is also engraved with the words "eternal sky", "spectacular" and "enough to shelter from the wind and rain".

Cliffs are like knives and axes, facing deep streams and densely covered with cliffs, which are the characteristics of the third peak. Third, "Sunset Clouds Low" between the Four Peaks was written by Xu Shichang in Shunzhi of Qing Dynasty (1658), which is the earliest stone carving in the last years of Wulaofeng. There are also stone carvings such as "Going to Wu Tianchi", "Overlooking Masterpieces", "The Great Heaven and Earth". Four of the five peaks are the highest, with an altitude of 1358 meters. Being here, there is a feeling of "climbing to the top of the mountain, the other mountains all appear dwarfs under the sky.". Emerge spontaneously.

The distance from Sifeng to Wufeng seems not far, but it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the winding mountain road. Wufeng is an isolated mountain at the northern end of Wulaofeng. When the weather is clear, standing here overlooking the vast Poyang Lake, the blue waves are boundless; Xing Zi County (now Lushan City), the inclined mountain of Poyang Lake, the Shi Zhongshan at the mouth of the lake and the dividing line between the Yangtze River and Poyang Lake are clearly visible. On the Five Peaks, there are two stone carvings: "Wen Gu Cave" and "Within reach".

The five ancient peaks are magnificent. In the past, some people thought it was the main peak of Lushan Mountain. For example, in "Kuangshan Mountains and the Main Peak", it is considered that "it is majestic and coherent enough to be the main peak." Zhao Shiliang's point of view is also recorded in the "Continued Lushan Records": "The scenery of Lushan Mountain is in the southeast, so the five peaks are absolutely unique and there is no opponent. Who said that there is no main peak in Kuanglu? " There is even a saying that there is no main peak in Lushan Mountain in the Picture of Jiujiang County, which holds that the peaks of Lushan Mountain "respect each other like guests and don't bow". With the development of surveying and mapping after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the altitude of Lushan Mountain has been clearly recorded. Da Hanyang Peak1473.8m is the highest peak in Lushan Mountain, and there is no objection. In addition, there are Dayue Mountain (radar station, 1453.2m), Sun Gushi (TV station, 1430m) and Xiaoyangfeng (14 12m), with the altitude exceeding 1400m. Therefore, the five old peaks can only rank fifth among the Lushan peaks at best. However, the author believes that no matter where the Five Old Peaks rank among the peaks of Lushan Mountain, visitors who have been to Lushan Mountain will have a shocking feeling when they see the Five Old Peaks and will never forget them.
