The temperature of South Africa throughout the year.
Due to the high terrain, the temperature in South Africa is usually lower than that in countries and regions with the same latitude, but there is no severe cold in winter, and the lowest temperature in some areas is only about-10 degrees Celsius. In general, there is no heating in summer.
The climate in South Africa can be divided into five different types. That is, desert and semi-desert areas, Mediterranean areas, tropical grassland areas, temperate grassland areas and rainforest areas. Most parts of South Africa have a savanna climate, with rainy summers and dry winters. Although South Africa spans 13 latitude from north to south, the temperature and climate difference between north and south is not obvious.
