How to maintain the excavator?

The weather is warm, and it is basically sunny all over the country these days. Today, however, Bian Xiao is going to talk about winter, so let everyone make preparations in advance to nip in the bud.

Then the problem is coming. How should our drivers and friends protect their beloved excavators and make them safe for the winter?

The answer is-treat it as a girlfriend! Ha ha ha, Bian Xiao is joking.

Seriously, here is how to maintain the dry goods of excavators. You are welcome to accept them.

Seven notes:

1, warm up before starting in winter, slowly extend each boom after starting at idle speed, and then work.

2. Precautions of excavator in winter preheating stage:

1) The engine runs at medium speed and the bucket is preheated;

2) Then, raise the engine speed to the highest, and let the bucket and stick work continuously for 5 minutes;

3) Jacking up the rotating crawler of the machine and preheating the left and right walking motors respectively;

3. Diesel oil should be replaced with-10 to -30 models. It depends on the region. The farther north the area, the more diesel oil is added to prevent diesel oil from wax deposition and start the engine. In addition, the diesel filter should be replaced. The engine oil should be replaced with locally applicable thickened engine oil, and the engine oil filter should also be replaced. The hydraulic system with oil leakage should be replaced in time, and the conditional oil tank should be insulated.

4, cooling system should carefully check whether the hose aging and fracture. If there is a problem, replace it in time, because these places are more prone to problems in winter.

5. Don't add water to the water tank. It is suggested to add antifreeze suitable for local temperature to prevent dilution of antifreeze after adding water. In particularly cold areas, it is more difficult to start the engine when antifreeze is added with water.

6. When using a blowtorch to heat the engine, be sure to look ahead. You should take a fire extinguisher with you in the car. Every year, there are countless accidents in which excavators catch fire because the torch ignites the engine. Everyone must pay attention! Tell your pilot that sometimes if you have other things on hand, you will forget them, and negligence will lead to great disaster!

7. When storing excavators for a long time in winter, attention should be paid to:

1) The battery must be taken down and placed in a warm place to prevent power feeding;

2) The label of diesel oil in the fuel tank meets the local temperature conditions;

3) Start the engine once a month;

4) Run the air conditioning system once a month.

Do these seven points, and your excavator can spend the winter safely. At the same time, there are seven low-level mistakes not to make. Friends who were shot, please think for yourself.

Seven mistakes

Mistake 1: Serious consequences caused by premature water discharge or no cooling water discharge: cracks appear in the engine cylinder block due to expansion or sudden contraction.

Mistake 2: The serious consequences caused by choosing fuel at will: reducing engine life and increasing damage probability. Generally speaking, the freezing point of diesel engine should be lower than the local minimum temperature of 7- 10.

Mistake 3: Using open flame to support combustion will have serious consequences: burning out the machine or damaging the engine.

Mistake 4: Baking the oil pan with an open flame will have serious consequences: burning out the machine or aggravating the wear and tear of the machine.

Mistake 5: Improper starting method will cause serious consequences: serious damage to the machine. The correct preheating method is: firstly, cover the insulation quilt on the water tank, open the drain valve and continuously inject 60-70% clean soft water into the water tank. When the water flowing from the drain valve feels very hot, close the drain valve, inject 90- 100% clean soft water into the water tank, and turn the crankshaft before starting to properly pre-lubricate all moving parts.

Mistake 6: Serious consequences caused by low-temperature load operation: serious machine wear. After the diesel engine starts to catch fire in winter, it should be idling at low and medium speed for a few minutes, and then put into load operation when the cooling water temperature reaches 60.

Mistake 7: Not paying attention to body insulation will lead to serious consequences: reducing working life and damaging the engine. Check whether the thermostat works normally before winter, and replace the faulty thermostat in time.
