In the third year of Chongzhen (1630), he was conferred the title of "Yingshen Bodhisattva", the pagoda was named "Lotus Treasure", and his forehead was named "Doing Good is the Happiest". In the same year, Yi'an was built as a temple and named "Hundred Years Palace". After expansion, it was also known as "Wannian Zen Temple". Visitors can look around here and have a clear view of the central scenic spot of Jiuhua Mountain.
The divine light and splendor:
The divine light and splendor is a tribute to the monk Ksitigarbha. In his later years, the monk Ksitigarbha once took the monks to Nantai to chant sutras and have a banquet. After his death, he settled down in Nantai. Three years after the vat was opened, the appearance was as real as life. People recognized it as the Bodhisattva who came to this world, and was revered as "Golden Ksitigarbha", so a three-level small pagoda was erected to enshrine it. It is said that a "round light" appeared in the sky above the ridge, which was praised as "a brilliant light". So the name "Nantai" was replaced by "Shenguang Ridge". Later, a wooden pagoda was built outside the stone pagoda, and a physical palace was built outside. For more than a thousand years, the palace has been repaired many times, making it even more spectacular. Under the south porch of the Flesh Body Hall, there is a large gold plaque with the words "The First Mountain in the Southeast", and at the north gate there is a plaque with the words "Bujin Resort". There is a half-moon-shaped Yaotai below, with a bell tower on the east and west sides, and a steep hanging bridge under the Longzhu Bridge. The 99 steps symbolize the 99-year-old life of Kinjizo. The Temple of the Flesh is a must-visit place for pilgrims and tourists. Especially on July 30th, the birthday of Jin Ksitigarbha, tens of thousands of Buddhist believers and faithful men and women flocked to pay homage to the Buddha, go around the pagoda, chant sutras and worship Buddha, all night long. On this day every year, showers fall from the sky, which is called: washing the tower. Mount Jiuhua will hold a grand temple fair that lasts for half a month, integrating Buddhist services, tourism, and commerce into one very lively event.
Morning light in Gion:
Gion is the place where Buddhas and Bodhisattvas live. It is said that after Sakyamuni became a Buddha, he left the country of Salo (ancient India) to live with a lonely elder. , wanted to buy the garden (Gion) of Prince Pasirani and build a monastery as a place for the Buddha to preach. The prince joked that gold could only be sold all over the place, and the elder lived up to his words. Because he built a monastery, he called the tree the only garden of loneliness, and it was called "Gion" for short. The name of Gionji Temple comes from this. The temple was built in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It is a palace-style building with layers of temples, with halls, buildings, courtyards, twists and turns, exquisite structure and grand momentum. The treasures in the hall are condensed and dazzling, and they are used for giant " The "Heng Sanshi" Buddha is the crown of Jiuhua Buddha statues. Gion Temple is backed by Mokong Ridge on the East Cliff and faces Tiger-shaped Mountain. The morning light is shining, the incense is misty, and the sound of chanting sutras, bells, drums, wooden fish, etc. can be heard all the time. On the side of the temple is a three-level lotus pond. In the pond, carps are jumping and lotus flowers are blooming, which is full of vitality.
Longchi Waterfall:
Longchi is located in the canyon southeast of Ganlu Temple and northeast of Longchi Temple.
It is the confluence of Qianchi Spring and Jiuhua Creek and is named after Long Creek. Folk legend says: "The pool is unfathomably deep, inexhaustible in all seasons, and is home to a dragon." The Dragon Pool is hidden in an abyss, but you can hear the sound of water but cannot see the valley. Longxi breaks through the cliff and gushes out from the mouth of the ladder-like canyon. Like an arrow from a string, thousands of feathers are fired, rushing down and hitting the rocks of Longchi's barrier. The torrent spins back, the snow waves roll, and the sound is like a loud bell. . In the Longtan under the waterfall, the rapids hit the rocks, flying beads splashed jade, and the drizzle was drizzle in the sky when viewed up close. The sunlight penetrated the suspended water, and charming rainbows appeared over the surface of the pool, making it feel like you were in a fairyland. There are often clouds and mist rising, forming a sea of ??clouds. Wei Yingwu, a poet monk of the Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem praising: "The rocks are hanging over the bay, and the snow is full, and the five dragons are slipping among the wild clouds. The thunder and lightning are gradually gathering under the nine peaks, and you can drink in the water of the creek and the pool. The waves lead the floating trees to the north bank, and the waves separate and the sun soaks them. Dongshan.
