On cloudy or sunny days, loofah is easy to wither. In fact, it is mainly caused by drought, because the towel gourd itself likes to grow in a warm climate, and the warm environment is very easy to lack water. In this case, some soils lose water faster. For example, if the loofah is planted in the sand, the soil will be very dry if it is not watered in time, and then the loofah will dry. Luffa will wither when it is short of water, and its large leaf area means that it needs a lot of water, so when planting Luffa, it must be watered in time.

There is something wrong with the root of the loofah. Sometimes I see loofah wither. Although it is said that the leaves are wilting, sometimes it may not be the leaves, but the roots of this loofah vine. Although towel gourd is not suitable for growing in dry environment, it is not bad for water. When it rains a lot, if it is planted in a low-lying place, the loofah vines are easy to soak in the water, while some loofah vines have underdeveloped roots, and then they are easy to lack oxygen or rot. Once some accidents happen to loofah vines, the whole loofah will be affected, and the wilting of loofah leaves is one of the manifestations.

In addition to the above situation, if you encounter pests when planting loofah, some insects will damage the leaves of loofah when biting them, and then wilt, but this possibility is relatively small, because if bitten by insects, it may be partially damaged, unless bitten seriously, otherwise a large area will wilt.
