Brief introduction of Zhang Jijia

Zhang Jijia (1930.1.1-1995.10.5) is a native of Youkengkou, Yingzhou Township, Jixi County, Anhui Province. Long-term weather forecasting expert, researcher of China Institute of Meteorology, professor and vice president of Nanjing Institute of Meteorology, chairman of China Meteorological Society, deputy director of China Meteorological Bureau, was elected as an academician of China Institute of Engineering. 195 1 Graduated from Physics Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University, 1958 graduated from graduate department, Institute of Hydrometeorology, Leningrad, Soviet Union, with an associate doctorate in earth science. Engaged in meteorological teaching, scientific research, organization and leadership, in-depth research on atmospheric circulation and long-term weather forecast, and the influence of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau on East Asian circulation and weather and climate.
