When is garlic watered?

The watering time of garlic usually depends on the climate and soil moisture. In spring and summer, garlic needs more water because of the high temperature.

It is advisable to water once or twice a week. In autumn and winter, garlic needs less watering because of the low temperature. Watering once every two weeks is enough.

When the soil surface is dry, water it in time. Before watering, make sure that the soil has been properly dried to avoid root rot caused by excessive watering. Watering at high temperature at noon should be avoided, because it may cause damage to plant leaves. It is best to water it in the morning or at night.
