Will there be a typhoon in Dongji Island tomorrow (July 23rd)?

On July 23rd, the peripheral circulation of this year's typhoon "Medham" 10 will have a significant impact on Dongji Island. It is not recommended to go to Dongji Island in the weather affected by typhoon.

The typhoon center was located at 10 this morning (22nd) on the northwest Pacific Ocean about 520km southeast of Taipei City, Taiwan Province Province, which is 20.8 degrees north latitude and 123.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is13 (40m/s), and the lowest air pressure in the center is 960 hectopascals.

It is estimated that "Medham" will move to the northwest at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour and gradually approach the eastern coast of Taiwan Province Province. It will land in the coastal area from Taitung to Hualien in Taiwan from this evening to tomorrow morning. It will be a strong typhoon (14-15,45-50m/s) when landing, and then it will cross the island of Taiwan Province Province and enter the Taiwan Province Strait, approaching the coast of Fujian. It will land again in the coastal area from Jinjiang to Fuding in Fujian from tomorrow afternoon to evening, with the intensity of strong tropical storm or typhoon (1 1- 12, 30-35 m/s).
