1. Because of the difference of each person's physical fitness, some people will have altitude sickness, and some people will have no or very slight altitude sickness.

2. Many tourists who go to Tibet by car may have gradually adapted to the plateau environment on the way, and there will be no altitude sickness after arriving in Lhasa, Tibet (3,650 meters above sea level).

Note: I often go to road trip Plateau in recent three years, and I like to go to places over 3000m or even 4000m.
