The holy place in our hearts - Nan Temple
March 15th is the birthday of Lord Buddha. Depart at seven o'clock for Nansi - located deep in the Taihang Mountains, at the junction of Shanxi Province and Hebei Province, in a mountain col two kilometers south of Luluo Town, Xindu District, Xingtai County.
Starting from Luluo Town, it takes about ten minutes to drive to the destination - Nan Temple. In recent years, businessmen who believe in Buddhism have continued to develop here, expand temples, and create statues of Buddhas and gods. Because the temple has a long history and is a spiritual place, the number of tourists here is increasing year by year.
Nan Temple has always been famous for its outstanding people, beautiful mountains and waters, fresh air and elegant environment. A tall and straight green pine with a history of 500 years stands in the center of the temple. The pine tree and a small stone bridge are nestled together. The water flows under the bridge and the fish swim in the crystal clear water with their heads and tails swaying. What is magical is that No matter how dry the weather has been, the water under the bridge has never diminished at all. It has always been full of water and crystal clear. This clear water gives the entire temple the aura of beautiful mountains and green waters.
The most fascinating and fascinating thing is the two dazzling red temple doors. The high school class of Luluo Middle School once set up camp here, and many senior students born in the 50s and 60s once camped here. These two symbolic buildings of the temple are unforgettable and never forgotten. Now fifty or sixty years have passed, and students from all over the world will always miss them in their hearts no matter how far they travel.
In my alma mater, Luluo Middle School, the tombstone of Wang Defa, the former senior principal, is also placed in the open space outside the temple. Every Qingming Festival, the school organizes teachers and students to pay their respects.
Looking from a distance, the entire temple is surrounded by mountains. Mountains and temples embrace each other, and water and temples depend on each other. Lord Buddha sits in the main hall, accompanied by gods and goddesses. Devotees from all directions come to pay homage to Lord Buddha. He also sincerely urges people all over the world to accumulate virtue and do good deeds and build good relationships.
We wish that the holy place in our hearts, Nan Temple, will become more and more prosperous, the Buddha's light will shine brightly, and the people of the world will always have enough food and clothing, and live and work in peace and contentment.
