On National Day, I went to Yichang, Hubei Province, where there is the longest Yangtze River in China and two famous hydropower stations, Gezhouba and Three Gorges Dam. Hydropower stations generate electricity by water level difference. Since there is a water level difference, how can ships on the Yangtze River pass through the Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba Dam?

The water level difference of the Three Gorges Dam is even greater, and a ship lock can no longer bear such great pressure. The five shiplocks adopted require more steps and time.
