2. northern heavy industries, the former Second Machinery Factory, is a military enterprise located in Qingshan District, Baotou City. The benefits in recent years are still ok.

3. "Sandstorms blow twice a year, once for half a year." Haha, just kidding. There is usually a sandstorm in winter and spring, and the duration and period are not fixed. It depends on the environmental changes at that time. Generally speaking, it takes as little as 2-3 days and as long as a week, all of which are intermittent. Don't worry, a specific environment always has a specific climate, just like there is more water in the south.

There are many parks in Baotou city. There are also many tourist attractions, such as Wudang Zhao, Meidai Zhao and Meiligeng, which are all distributed around Baotou. It's only a two-hour drive. The nearest grassland scenic spot to Baotou may be the Xilamuren grassland, not far away. There is a place in the south of Baotou called Xiangsha Bay, which is a desert scenic spot. You can go there sometime. In short, there are many interesting places in Baotou, as long as you have time.

In a northern city like Baotou, the rainfall can't be compared with that in the south. If rain is important to you, it's up to God to wait for it in Baotou. The lowest temperature in northern winter is MINUS 20 degrees, but don't be afraid. At that time, many of our classmates in the south didn't feel cold, because the cold there was dry and cold, and there was no feeling of freezing bones. You will get used to it. If there is heavy snow and snowball fights in winter, maybe you will love the winter there. Finally, I'd like to remind you that in the dormitory of Beijing Normal University, heating definitely makes you feel at ease. It's cold, and you will sweat when you take off your clothes and open the door in the room.
