Volunteer for the first time

With a selfless dedication, I actively signed up for the "Jinnan Library Volunteer Public Welfare Activities" and "Haihe Education Park Water Resources Protection Cleaning Activities". This is my first time to join the ranks of volunteers. I used to think that people who give silently are great. Now, I am about to step into this fiery ranks, and my heart is full of incomparable excitement.

? When the organizer gave each of us volunteer vests and armbands, I thought big red was the best color, representing people's burning hearts and boiling blood. After that, we took a bus to Tianjin Jinnan Library to do volunteer activities. Although the weather is cold, everyone is trembling, but everyone's face shows a happy smile.

? We set out from school in an orderly way, got on the bus and went to Jinnan Library. After getting off the bus and crossing an alley, we came to the library. There is a plaque in front of the library, which is the inscription of Jinnan Library. We walked up the stairs. There are carp patterns in the center of the stairs, which are intricately arranged and beautiful, adding literary flavor to the library. When we entered the library, the teachers in the library warmly welcomed us and signed us in on Jinyun APP. Then he told us the requirements for sorting out books. We need to arrange the books on the shelf by number, and we also need to find the place to return them. After we learned about it, we began to work.

? At first, I didn't quite understand how to arrange the books by number, because the numbers were too messy, and our organizer explained it to me again. Later, after my own exploration, I finally understood how to arrange them. I am very happy, this is a harvest.

? Busy all morning, looking at the books I sorted out, I was proud and happy. Every volunteer has a happy look on his face.

? Then we went back to school by car, and time was tight. I ate a bowl of pollen at noon, and I will gather in the afternoon to participate in the public welfare activities of "protecting water resources". Although we are all very tired at noon, I feel that my burden is great and I am still full of yearning.

? In the afternoon, the organizer gave each of us a plastic bag, and we walked along the street near the school to pick up garbage. The sunshine was particularly bright that day, and we were lucky enough to see the particularly beautiful scenery. The sky and the river are inlaid together, and the sky is blue and the river is clear, which makes the boring garbage collection activities lively and interesting. We walked in the autumn sunshine, listening to the sound of autumn leaves being crushed under our feet and watching the leaves fall to the ground. We also pick up rubbish in this street and leave our footprints in this street.

On the way back and forth, I am exhausted and really tired after a busy day. My companion pulled me, and we walked together, cheering each other up and helping each other to walk back. Finally, we came to the school gate. We collected the rubbish we picked up and found that we picked up a lot of rubbish. This is also everyone's efforts.

Through this volunteer activity, I have increased my love for volunteer work. I feel the pride of being a young volunteer and the selfless dedication of the volunteers. In the future, I will also participate in social welfare and contribute to this strange city.
