When the seniors took us around the campus, I felt that the school was too big. It was autumn when school first started, and I felt that the weather was pretty good, like a northern city in China, with crisp autumn air and everywhere was very clean. I lived in the school dormitory since my freshman year and ate in the cafeteria. Because I was not familiar with the surrounding area, I rarely went out. It teaches you how to register for courses, how to buy a bus pass, etc. It also includes information about study and life. I basically spent the first semester on campus and felt that the atmosphere of the school was quite in line with my expectations. After class, I go to the library to read books and do my homework. When I have nothing to do, I watch TV series in the dormitory. However, winter came not long after school started, and the weather was extremely cold. I was very surprised by the air conditioning in the United States. The temperature was extremely high, so I basically just wore short sleeves. Especially students studying natural resource management often have the opportunity to take classes in the grasslands, rivers and woods around the school.
