But the seat of Tang county governance is called "Renhou Town". The legend of this name began in the late Qing Dynasty (Baoding place name) and has a history of more than 100 years. In the Qing Dynasty, a Shanxi businessman wanted to do business in Baoding and passed by Tangxian County. Businessmen are thirsty when the weather is hot. There happened to be an old man and his wife watering vegetables in the garden, so he asked for some water to drink, and put the bag with money on the big stone by the well. In a hurry, the businessman got on the horse and left after drinking the water. When he arrived in Baoding, he suddenly remembered, "Oh, no! This money was lost on the road and should have been lost when drinking water in Tang County. " Go home, it's a long way, the traffic is inconvenient, and people may not recognize it, so just admit it's bad luck! The businessman thought.

Fortunately, there are still some fellow villagers in Baoding, so I borrowed some money to start a business. After three years of painstaking efforts, he finally made a lot of money and became a rich man, and he gradually forgot about it.

One day, a businessman wrote a letter from his home in Shanxi, inviting him home. When I passed by the Chengguan of Tangxian County, I suddenly remembered that I had lost my travel expenses three years ago, so I found the vegetable garden by memory with the mentality of trying. Coincidentally, the old man and his wife were watering the vegetable garden again. I asked him if he remembered a businessman who drank water here three years ago and left his wealth bag by the well. The old man looked at the businessman carefully, then picked up a pickaxe and planed by the well. After a while, he took out a bag and handed it to the businessman. He opened it and found that the money was penniless. The businessman was greatly moved and gave half of the money to the old man. The old man refused: "If I wanted your money, would I wait until today?" We Tangxian people have always been kind and kind, and will not take ill-gotten gains. "

Seeing that it was getting dark, the businessman offered to spend the night at the old man's house. The old man said, "Don't say stay for one night, just stay for a few days." He also asked his wife to kill the chicken and beat the wine to entertain the guest who came from afar. In the evening, the businessman and the old man started a family dispute. After learning that the old man had no sons, the businessman said, "I have three sons. I must give you one of you and let you die of old age." The old man refused, but had to agree. The businessman returned to his hometown in Shanxi and took his three sons to Tang County to adopt his parents.

Because of his good family style and education, the merchant's third son won the first prize and went to work in Beijing. When he left, he remembered what his father had said to him when he came: the people in Chengguan, Tangxian County are simple and kind. So I began to write down the four characters of "benevolence", and Chengguan Town was renamed "Renhou Town" until now.
