What does the label of automobile instrument lamp mean? What's the role?

The icons of automobile instrument lights represent different meanings, and the function of instrument panel lights is to inform the driver of the state of the vehicle.

Common automobile instrument lights are:

First, the green light

1, lighting

Lights when the taillights or headlights are turned on. If there is no sign on the dashboard at night, it may be dangerous.

2. High beam indicator

This indicator will appear when the headlights are turned on and the high beam is turned on. It is very useful on very dark roads, but be careful, because it is dangerous to interfere with the visibility of the opposite vehicle under normal circumstances.

3. Low beam lamp

This indication will appear when the low beam lamp is turned on and the headlamp rotates downward.

4. Front fog lamp

There is a fog lamp under the front of the car. When this function is turned on, the front fog lamp indicator will appear. Fog lamps can be used to ensure visibility in bad weather conditions, such as snow, rain and fog.

5. Emergency warning/direction indication

When the light is operated, the emergency warning light and the direction indicator light will be displayed. These two lights allow drivers to communicate with each other and drive safely.

Second, the yellow warning light

1, engine warning light

If there is a problem with the electronic control unit, exhaust control unit or oil supply unit related to the engine, it will light up. When this instruction appears, it is recommended that you check the vehicle immediately.

2. Brake pad damage warning light

This is one of the common warning lights in imported cars, which will light up when the brake pad-related sensor fails. Once this warning light appears, you'd better check the brake pads.

3.TPMS warning light

This is a warning light that will light up when the tire pressure is low. If the air pressure is low, it is easy to cause safety accidents.

4. Low fuel warning light

This warning light will be displayed when the fuel tank is kept within the range of 5 ~ 7 liters. When the fuel shortage warning light is on, you should go to the gas station to refuel immediately.

5. Body Position Control System (ESC) indicator light

The device that controls the braking pressure and engine output by sensing the slip of the vehicle itself is called body attitude control (ESC). If there is a problem with the ESC, the LED may light up. If the ESC indicator flashes, it means normal operation.

6.ABS warning light

ABS brake is an active safety device, which can adjust the balance of the vehicle when braking quickly. If ABS braking is abnormal, the indicator light may light up. If the warning light is displayed, the braking distance will be longer, so be careful when operating.

Third, the red warning light.

1, charge the battery.

This warning light may appear if the battery is not fully charged. It is a kind of warning light, which appears in the season of easy leakage in winter.

2. Airbag warning light

This light will illuminate when an airbag failure is detected.

3. When the brake warning light is hung on the brake or the brake fluid is insufficient, it will light up.

4. Engine oil warning light

Lights when the oil pressure is low or the engine oil quantity is low. When this warning light is on, it is recommended to check and replenish the oil as soon as possible.

5, cooling water temperature warning lamp

When the coolant temperature is higher than 125C, the coolant temperature warning light will light up, although it may be slightly different for different vehicles. The higher the coolant temperature, the faster the engine heats up, leading to overheating. Therefore, when this warning light appears, you must turn off the engine and replenish the coolant.
