This year's No.8 typhoon "Sangka" is located in the central and western South China Sea at 5 o'clock on July 24th, about 230 kilometers southeast of Sanya, Hainan, which is 17.3 degrees north latitude and11.4 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is Grade 8 (18m/s).

It is predicted that Sangka will still bypass the central and western South China Sea during the day, and start to move to the northwest at the speed of10-15km per hour around the evening, and the intensity will be strengthened. It will land in the coastal area from Sanya to Lingshui, Hainan from tonight to tomorrow morning (20-23m/s, 8-9, tropical storm level), or it may be from there. After that, it moved into Beibu Gulf, landed on the northern coast of Vietnam from the evening of 25th to the early morning of 26th (20-23m/s, 8-9 tropical storm level), and then weakened rapidly.

It is reported that the winds in the nearby sea areas and areas passed by the typhoon center can reach 8-9, with gusts10-1.
