Shengzhou is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the east of central Zhejiang, on the upper reaches of Cao 'e River, bordering Fenghua and Yuyao in the east, Xinchang and Dongyang in the south, Zhuji in the west and Shangyu in the north, with a total area of 1, 784.43 square kilometers. It is the first batch of economically open counties (cities) in China and one of the top 100 counties and cities in the country with basic competitiveness of county economy. As early as the Qin and Han dynasties, the county was established and called Shu. Shengzhou was established in the early Tang Dynasty and was named Shengxian County in the Northern Song Dynasty. It has a history of more than 2 150 years. Shengzhou is the hometown of Yue Opera, with picturesque scenery and rich humanities, including the hometown of book saints, the first waterfall in the world and Shaoxing Hot Spring City. The annual average temperature in Shengzhou is 16.4℃, the average temperature in 10 is 4.2℃, and the average temperature in July is 28.6℃.
