In recent years, the increasingly rampant sandstorm weather in northern China has brought a large number of casualties and huge economic losses. As we all know, the sandstorm weather in Beijing in spring makes many people who yearn for Beijing "talk about Beijing's color change", and Beijing citizens are even more troubled by sandstorm weather!

In fact, however, sandstorms in Inner Mongolia are far more serious than those in Beijing. It is reported that the central and northwest areas of Inner Mongolia are the areas with the most sandstorms and strong sandstorms! On June 2, 65438, strong winds and sand blowing occurred in Sunite Right Banner of Xilingol League and Siziwangqi of Wulanchabu League in the northern pastoral area of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The maximum wind force reached 9, and the strong wind blew snow, sand and hay all over the sky, making the world a vast expanse of whiteness. On May 4th, large-scale gale, sand blowing and sandstorm occurred in Inner Mongolia, among which Hohhot was hit by a strong sandstorm, the strongest since this year. The waves are getting higher and higher. On a hot summer afternoon on June 14, a strong sandstorm hit Hohhot and Qingcheng outside the Great Wall. This news report is really shocking!

It can be seen that the sandstorm weather in Inner Mongolia has really reached a frightening level. However, sandstorm is only a weather phenomenon, and the reason hidden under this phenomenon is a problem worthy of our serious consideration.

According to experts' analysis, the deterioration of ecological environment in northern China, the continuous expansion of desertification land and the increasing degree of desertification are the important reasons for frequent sandstorms.

Indeed, the speed of grassland degradation in Inner Mongolia is enough to make all people in the industry worried and deeply saddened. Many visitors to Inner Mongolia can't help sighing that "it's hard to see grass on the grassland"!

Once upon a time, the charming green ocean in Inner Mongolia turned into a disappointing and even daunting desert. Once upon a time, the pearl beyond the Great Wall with beautiful scenery and cattle and sheep everywhere became so barren; Once upon a time, people's concept of "seeing cattle and sheep at the slightest sign of trouble" no longer exists, but was blown to the sky by strong winds and turned into "the wind blew past and turned yellow again"!

In recent years, human factors such as excessive cultivation, overgrazing and abuse of water resources have caused great disasters to the homes on which grassland people depend. Damaoqi, the hometown of "Miss Grassland Hero", used to be a place rich in water and grass, but this year it suffered the worst drought in 60 years. About 6.5438+0.35 million mu of grassland in the whole banner suffered from locusts. However, in Alashan area of Inner Mongolia, the expansion speed of land desertification is as high as every year. Our beautiful grassland is being swallowed up mercilessly, the grassland is moaning and the people are crying.

The fragility and instability of traditional animal husbandry in the face of overgrazing and environmental degradation have been exposed. The deterioration of grassland ecological environment not only seriously affects the development of animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia, the growth of local fiscal revenue and the income of farmers and herdsmen, but also has become an important factor restricting the sustainable development of national economy.

The strong winds in the north swept away the sand on the ground again and again, and swept away the lifeline on which the grassland people depended. How will the economy of Inner Mongolia, which is dominated by animal husbandry, develop and where will the herdsmen in Inner Mongolia go?

We all know that the problem of desertification in Inner Mongolia has seriously restricted the economic development and brought a lot of inconvenience to the local people. However, we need to know more about the specific situation and the impact of the disaster. In view of this situation, we decided to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth investigation in Inner Mongolia to find a way out for the economy of Inner Mongolia and improve the living conditions of the grassland people. Without investigation and study, there is no right to speak. Only by understanding the local specific conditions in the pace of the development of the western region can we have a well-thought-out plan and prescribe the right medicine in the cause of the development of the western region, so as not to blindly shoot and cause some unnecessary losses.

Pay attention to the west and Inner Mongolia. Based on this principle, we intend to carry out a social practice to investigate the environmental deterioration in Inner Mongolia. We will travel all over most parts of Inner Mongolia and visit some places with serious environmental deterioration, such as Xilin Gol League, Damaoqi, Siziwangqi and Alashan League, to see for ourselves and gain a deeper understanding of the disaster situation in Inner Mongolia. I can personally understand the obstacles that desertification has brought to the development of grassland economy and the inconvenience to the lives of local people. We will collect some relevant information, sort it out, and introduce it to the teachers and students of the whole school in the form of a report, so that everyone can see a real Inner Mongolia, let everyone really know about the west, and make preparations for actively participating in the trend of western development. By introducing the huge negative impact of environmental deterioration on the national economy and people's lives, we will enhance our awareness of environmental protection, awaken our sense of hardship, and call on young people with aspirations to go where the motherland needs them most, actively participate in the tide of western development, and make contributions to the revitalization of Inner Mongolia!
