The origin of Jiamusi
Jiamusi was founded in 1888, formerly known as Dongxing Town, and was called Jiamusi in the late Qing Dynasty. 1937, Jiamusi City was established in some administrative areas of Huachuan County. As early as the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, this place was under the jurisdiction of the three surnames. Guangxu years, changed to Yilan House. At the end of Guangxu, Jiamusi had become a small town with 100 families. In Xuantongyuannian (1909), Huachuan was sent to Jiamusi to take charge of administrative affairs. Since the fifth year of the Republic of China (19 16), Jiamusi has developed rapidly with the development of Hegang coal mine and Wutonghe gold mine. After the September 18th Incident, Japanese imperialism invaded and established the puppet Manchukuo, where Japanese armed immigrants explored. On December 1st, the first year of Kant (1934), after the puppet Manchukuo changed to the imperial system, the local administrative institutions were reformed and the Sanjiang Provincial Office was established, and Jiamusi became the seat of the Sanjiang Provincial Office. At the same time, Huachuan county government moved here again, and this place became the political center of provinces and counties. Jiamusi's superior geographical position was not only the political center at that time, but also the economic center and the hub of waterway transportation. With the establishment of various institutions and facilities, Jiamusi has begun to take shape. In the fourth year of Kant's reign (1937), Jiamusi city was formally established on December 1st of the same year after the preparatory office of Jiamusi city system was established in Sanjiang provincial office. In 34 years (1945), the Northeast was recovered. In the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), the plan of new provinces and regions was announced on June 5, and the northeast was changed to nine provinces, which made the pseudo-Three Rivers. Dong 'an Province is merged into Hejiang Province, and Jiamusi City is the capital of Hejiang Province. After the national liberation, the three northeastern provinces were restored, and Jiamusi City was a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province.
