Speaking of students' language poverty and the consequences of studying hard, Professor Pei Xiansheng gave two examples. A graduate student wrote a 120-word leave note with more than 20 typos. An undergraduate wrote a letter, and the recipient on the envelope said "from Grandpa XXX". The envelope was addressed to the postman, but the recipient was the writer's grandfather. Yu Xuchu, a special teacher, said that now is an open era of networking and globalization. The college entrance examination essay questions should guide students to pay attention to society, but there are too few questions that really pay attention to society now. Professor Ling Huanxin said that at present, both Shanghai and Fujian have raised their composition scores to 70. There are two arrangements for extra 10 points. First, test an essay, and raise the score from 60 to 70; The second is divided into big composition and small composition. 60 points for a large composition, which comprehensively reflects students' language level, and 0 points for a small composition/kloc-0, which examines students' basic skills, such as asking students to write an applied essay.
