During the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-22 AD), in the third year of Huidi (BC 192), Dong 'ou State (now Wenzhou) was established as the territory of Dong 'ou. In the second year of the Yuan Dynasty (the first 85 years), Hewlett-Packard County was located in the east (located in Zhang 'an Town, Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, which governed the three cities of Taiwan, Wen and Li), belonging to Huiji County, Yangzhou (located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province). In the Eastern Han Dynasty (23 ~ 220), at the beginning of Jianwu (AD 25), Hewlett-Packard Province entered Yinxian (now Ningbo). In the first year of Zhanghe (87), the hometown of Uighur was in Zhang 'an County (now Zhang 'an Town, Jiaojiang, Taizhou), belonging to Huiji County (now Shaoxing City) of Yangzhou Secretariat. In the fourth year of Jian 'an (199), Songyang County was divided into chapters, belonging to Huiji County of Yangzhou. In the 23rd year of Jian 'an (2 18), Suichang County was located in the south of Taimu County, belonging to Huiji County of Yangzhou. The other half (now Pingdu, Yushang, Longgong, Annan, Song and Yuan Dynasties, Sishan, baishanzu, Hehu, Xianliang, Wudabao, Zhang Cun, Jushui, Longxi and other towns) still belong to Longquan County of Wu Yueguo. The northern song dynasty (960 ~ 1 127) belonged to Longquan county, Chuzhou, and was located on liangzhe road (or east Zhejiang road).

The Qing dynasty (1644 ~1911) was subordinate to the state government of Zhejiang province (it was changed to the military and political sub-government of Zhejiang military government during the Revolution of 1911). During Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty (1796 ~ 1820), Jincun and Xiayang, which belonged to Qingyuan County, were placed under Longquan County.
In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12 ~ 1948), Qingyuan County was directly under the jurisdiction of the Governor's Office of Zhejiang Province. In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it belonged to Ouhai Road, Zhejiang Governor's Office (Daoyin was stationed in Wenzhou today). In 2000, Lishui District was abolished, and Lishui City was established at the prefecture level, and qingyuan county was subordinate to Lishui City.
