Therefore, Xu Bozhen's large-scale lectures in Jiu Feng can be regarded as the earliest private lecture center in Tangxi. Xu Qiguan, a native of Lanxi in Tang Dynasty, lived in seclusion in Jiufeng Mountain. He wrote a book in the stone room of Jiufeng Mountain. In the forty-eight years of Qianlong (1783), Chen Zhongyue, the magistrate of a county, changed to Jiu Feng Academy, but was destroyed by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in the last years of Xianfeng.
