Linzhi scenic spot

Linzhi, located in eastern Tibet, about 400 kilometers away from the capital Lhasa, is a famous tourist attraction in Tibet. Due to the low altitude and abundant rainfall, it has created rich vegetation and natural landscape. Linzhi Scenic Area mainly includes Basongcuo, Kadinggou, Nanyigou, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon and Lulang Town.

I. Basongcuo

Basongcuo is a famous holy lake of Tibetan Buddhism (Ma Ning), located in the valley of Bahe Town, Gongbujiangda County, Linzhi City, about120km away from Linzhi City, and it is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Basongcuo is a relatively large lake in Tibet, covering an area of about 27 square kilometers. The whole scenic spot is18km long, with an altitude of about 3,480m, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glaciers.

Second, Kadinggou

Rock canyon landform, with steep cliffs on both sides of the canyon. There is a waterfall falling from the sky on the 200-meter-high cliff, and there is a stone shaped like a Buddha statue where the waterfall flows. When the current is strong, the Buddha looms in the waterfall. So it is also called Tianfo Waterfall Scenic Area.

Three. Nanyigou

Nanyigou is located in Nanyiluoba Ethnic Township, Milin County, Linzhi City, about 70 kilometers away from Linzhi City. It is the birthplace of Tibetan medicine culture. Nanyigou is about 2500 meters above sea level. The climate here is mild and humid, with abundant rainfall, which has created rich vegetation and natural landscape, and is called "Little Jiangnan".

Four. Yarlung Zangbo Rive Canyon

The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is the deepest canyon in the world, located in Paizhen, Milin County, about 80 kilometers away from Linzhi City. The Grand Canyon starts from Daduka Village, Paizhen Town, Milin County, and ends at Pasigate Village, Medog County, with a total length of 504 kilometers and the deepest point of 6009 meters. It is the first deep grand canyon in the world.
