On the 26th, except Yongzhou, Chenzhou, Hengyang and Shaoyang, there will be small to medium snow or sleet weather in other areas of Hunan Province, with moderate to heavy snow in Zhangjiajie, Changde, Yiyang and Yueyang.

Zhou Hui, chief forecaster of Hunan Meteorological Observatory, said that according to the meteorological data currently available, the continuous freezing weather in the areas north of western Hunan and central Hunan will have obvious adverse effects on agriculture, forestry, transportation, electricity and people's lives. Especially near the peak of Spring Festival travel rush, relevant departments and returning people should strengthen prevention and make reasonable arrangements for travel in combination with weather changes.
