Where is the best growing condition for lily in China? How about Guangdong?
Lily likes cold, humid climate and semi-shady environment, and likes sandy loam with rich humus, good drainage and loose structure, and slightly acidic soil is better. The requirements for temperature in each growth period are as follows: monthly average temperature in growth period10-28℃; The average daily temperature at seedling stage should pass10℃ stably; When the daily average temperature is ]6-24℃, the growth rate of aboveground stems is the fastest; The average daily temperature is 24-29℃, which is the suitable temperature for bulb expansion. When the daily average temperature is lower than 5℃ or higher than 30℃, it is basically at a standstill. Lily needs 280-330 days from sowing to harvesting.
Cultivation techniques of lily
(A) the selection and treatment of soil
It is advisable to choose loose soil with good ventilation and drainage, and the soil pH value is between 6.0 and 7.0. Strong acid or alkali soil should be improved before planting. In order to avoid soil-borne diseases and root damage, it is best to disinfect the soil, such as steam disinfection or chemical fumigation disinfection, so that the cultivated soil does not contain pathogenic bacteria.
(2) seed ball treatment and planting
At present, lily bulbs are mostly imported from the Netherlands, and have broken dormancy after low temperature treatment. Therefore, it must be noted that you should plant it in the ground immediately after picking it, and you should not leave it at high temperature for too long. The planting depth of lily is 2 ~ 3 times of the bulb height, depending on the planting season and bulb size.
(3) Fertilization
More organic fertilizer (such as compost) should be applied. If chemical fertilizer is applied, 36 kg of ammonium sulfate, 83 kg of calcium superphosphate and 50 kg of potassium chloride should be applied per 10 mu, and nitrogen should be supplemented 12.5 kg during cultivation, and then soaked into solution for irrigation. Lily doesn't need too much fertilizer, especially not too much chemical fertilizer, otherwise salt damage may occur and the plant will be dwarfed easily.
(4) Lighting conditions
The light intensity required for lily cultivation is about 2500 foot candles. In temperate regions, when there is insufficient light in winter, the phenomenon of falling buds and flowers may occur, so it is necessary to choose varieties that are more tolerant to weak light for cultivation.
(5) Temperature conditions
The optimum night temperature for lily growth is generally 10~ 15, and the daily temperature is below 25.
(6) Water resources management
After the lily is planted in the ground, the soil must be thoroughly watered, as long as the soil is kept moist in the later growth period. Because lily is usually planted as a bed, its roots belong to shallow roots. When watering, water should be supplied by spraying, and furrow irrigation is not allowed, so as not to make the roots lack oxygen due to long soaking time, and the border surface should not be too wet, so as not to cause bulb rot.
(7) Setting support
Some lily varieties are relatively high, prone to lodging and breaking, and must be protected by columns. A labor-saving and feasible method is to set up a cultivation net when the bulbs grow to a certain height, so that the lily stems can naturally pass through the mesh. Because of the protection of the net rope, lily plants will not lodging.
(8) Suitable harvest time of lily.
When the flowers at the bottom of lily inflorescence change color, they can be harvested. Flowers are picked too early and develop poorly, which affects the quality of flowering. If it is picked too late, it will be difficult to package and the petals will be easily injured.
Second, the seeds are refrigerated.
After lily bulbs (commonly known as seed bulbs) are dug out, some old scales that are aging, rotting and shrinking are removed by hand, the wilting stems are pulled out, and the roots are all cut off. Then soak in 65,438+0,500 times of Lysimachia christinae (such as Erie) water solution for 30 minutes, take out and dry in the shade, and prepare for cold storage. In order to facilitate transportation, plastic baskets can be used as refrigerated containers. Spread a layer of plastic cloth in the basket first, then a layer of sphagnum, then a layer of lily bulbs, then a layer of sphagnum, and then a layer of lily bulbs. When the whole basket is full, wrap the plastic cloth and punch some holes in it to breathe. When finished, it can be stored in the refrigerator.
