(5) Iraq is highly civilized, quiet, spitting, and polite to people.

Two. Visa, entry and customs

(1) visa

1. China citizens holding diplomatic and official passports are exempt from visas and stay for 30 days. Holders of business passports and personal passports must apply for visas from Iraqi embassies and consulates abroad in advance, and the stay period is generally 30 days. If it is necessary to extend their visas, they must apply to the foreign affairs police before their visa stay expires. Overstaying will result in a daily fine of 30 Wan Li dollars (about 34 US dollars). If you engage in illegal business or labor services, you must pay a huge fine to the labor department and the financial department before leaving the country.

2. Iran has become a destination country for China citizens to travel at their own expense. With a round-trip air ticket, you can apply for a landing tourist visa at Teheran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabrizi, Mashhad and other airports, staying for 7 days, taking a photo, and the handling fee is 50 dollars. If you need to extend your stay, you should apply in advance.

3. When applying for a work visa, you need to provide the application approval submitted by the Iranian employer to the competent department. To apply for a visa to study abroad, you must provide proof of an authorized educational institution. To apply for a transit visa, you must provide a valid third-country visa and a confirmed air ticket to a third country.

4. The basic requirements for applying for a visa are: the applicant should provide two completed application forms, three recent photos (women must wear headscarves), passport (valid for at least half a year) and visa fee.

5. The visa office of the Iranian Embassy in China only accepts visa applications on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9: 00 am to12: 00 am. Applicants must submit their passports, application forms, bank checks and related application materials in person. Only one person is allowed to apply for an expedited visa every Monday. The expedited visa fee is 840 yuan RMB per person, and the approval time is 72 hours. Only ordinary visa applications are accepted every Tuesday. The visa fee is 460 yuan RMB per person, and the approval time is within 7 days.

(2) Enter

1. Passengers can usually carry personal belongings. Some valuables need to be declared by customs officials and recorded in their personal passports. The recorded articles cannot be sold and must be presented when leaving the country. If it is lost or stolen, relevant proof of loss shall be presented.

2. It is forbidden to bring any alcoholic drinks, pork and its products into the country, or you will be punished.

3. Other articles that are not allowed to be brought into the country include: gambling tools, ecstasy, guns, pornographic books and periodicals, all books and audio-visual products that denigrate the image of Islam and Iran.

Animals and plants brought into China shall be subject to animal and plant quarantine at the airport.

5. Entry currency is controlled in Iran, and immigrants must submit a currency declaration form to the bank office at the airport.

(3) Customs

1. Each outbound person is allowed to carry pistachio10kg, 200g of saffron, 50g of precious metal (gold)150g and 3000mg of silver. Show me the receipt when you bring caviar.

2. It is forbidden to take pistachios, saffron and carpets out of Syria and the United Arab Emirates.

3. Each person can take Persian carpets not exceeding 12 square meters out of the country and show the invoice, but if the carpets have historical or cultural value, they are not allowed to take them out of the country.

4. Immigrants can carry up to $65,438+0,000 in cash. If the cash exceeds this amount, you need a bank certificate.

Four, common diseases and medical conditions

Malaria is a frequently-occurring disease. The medical conditions in big cities are good, the drug supply is sufficient, the quality is good, and the price is moderate; Foreigners have no medical insurance. Use your right hand when accepting things, because your left hand is considered unclean. Iranians are very hygienic, and spitting and littering are even less common. Nine. Immigration and nationality

(1) Iran does not recognize dual nationality. According to Iranian civil law, a China woman will automatically become an Iranian citizen after she marries an Iranian, and her Iranian passport will be confiscated. After living in Iran, the original passport will be returned to the Embassy of China for cancellation.

(2) The children of China women who are married to Iranians have Iranian nationality and no other nationality. Children must be under the guardianship of the man, and if they need to leave the country, they must obtain the consent of the man.

(3) According to Iran's relevant regulations, a married woman must obtain her husband's written consent to buy a plane ticket when traveling abroad.

(4) Due to the differences in religious culture and living habits, China women who want to marry Iranian men should fully understand Iranian laws and regulations and the relevant situation of the man's family in advance, and make a final decision after careful consideration, so as to avoid hasty marriage and regret it.

(5) After Iranian women get married, their parents can apply to visit relatives in China, but their stay is short, only a few months, so it is generally difficult to get an extension. Overstaying will be fined by the Ministry of Labor and Immigration.
