What kind of soil should be used to cultivate dragon spit beads?
There are about 400 species of plants of the same genus, mainly produced in tropical areas of Asia and Africa. I like warm, humid and semi-cloudy environment. Usually planted are:
The long mountain in Java Island is also called Bangzi Haitang. Evergreen flowers and trees, the height can reach 1 m. The huge inflorescence is terminal, bright red and very beautiful. The flowering period can be as long as 2 ~ 3 months, and it is an excellent potted flower. The cultivation method is similar to Longtu bamboo, which is slightly shade-loving and not cold-resistant. The indoor temperature should be above 15℃ in winter. Hainan Island in China has wild distribution.
Sowing and cutting propagation. Artificial pollination can bear fruit when flowering. Seeds are easy to lose germination ability and should not be stored for a long time after harvest. Sow as early as possible. Sowing medium seeds at 20 ~ 25℃ for 2 ~ 3 weeks can form seedlings. When the weather gets warmer after May, annual branches can be cut, the length is about 10cm(2 ~ 3 knots), and the lower part 1 leaf can be removed. They can be planted on a seedbed with coarse sand or vermiculite as the substrate, kept moist with plastic film and slightly shaded, and can take root at 20 ~ 25℃ for 4 ~ 6 weeks.
Potted with humus soil, peat soil, river sand around 1/4 and a small amount of base fertilizer, and fine sand can also be used. Change pots in early spring every year, remove some soil and trim them properly. Liquid fertilizer was applied every 1 ~ 2 weeks during the growing period. Longtu bamboo likes shade, so it can be moved to the outdoor shade or under other large pots of sunny flowers on the balcony in mid-May. It can block 50% sunlight in summer, 30% in spring and autumn, and put it indoors in direct sunlight in winter. If left in the dark for a long time, the light is insufficient and it is not easy to bloom. Afraid of cold, the indoor temperature should be above 15℃ in winter. When the temperature is low, the leaves will fall off, and the long-term low temperature around 10℃ will make the plants fall off, and the branches will dry up or even die. The normal growth temperature is above 65438 08℃. In the north, the main reason for the bad growth of Longtu bamboo in winter is the low temperature. In the case of low room temperature, don't water more, just slightly moisten the pot soil, which is easy to cause root rot and accelerate death.
Longtu bamboo is a potted climbing flower viewing plant. It is often tied into brackets of various shapes on pots, and branches are artificially guided to climb, which can grow into potted flowers of different shapes.
