Aobaoshan Mountain is a small hill near the river at the entrance of Aobaogou Formation in Siwanguan Village, facing the Laozhaichuan River at the northern foot of Daheishan and in the direction of national security. The mountains are not high, and there are mountains on the roads to the east and south. If you walk from the east, notice that a mountain collapses on the hillside in the middle, forming a big hole. The road is just above the mouth of the cave, and it is currently in a suspended state, which is in danger of collapse.

Aobao, Mongolian, that is, earth-rock pile, was originally built by herders on the grassland with stones to show the road or realm, and later gradually evolved into a place to worship the gods. This kind of sacrifice mainly comes from Shamanism, and there are similar customs in the Mongolian Plateau, western Liaoning and the ethnic minorities around Daxing 'anling, such as Donghu, Xianbei, Wuhuan, Rouran, Qidan and Xiren, and even in Mongolia, Daur (later generation Qidan), Oroqen and Ewenki.

I have been to Daur Township in asir, Tacheng, Xinjiang. The Daur people here are descendants of officers and men from the northeast during the Qing Dynasty. As the ethnic origin, they come from the Khitan people in the "Legend of Green Cow and White Horse" of Laoha River and Xilamulun River. They call "Aobao" a swimming bag. Every year on the eighth day of the sixth lunar month, everyone will hold a swimming bag festival in front of Sanyan Spring, and turn around the swimming bag three times clockwise to pray and swim.

I have also been to the ruins of Yemili ancient city in emin county, Tacheng, Xinjiang, which was once the imperial capital established by Yelishi in the Western Liao Dynasty. Genghis Khan's third son, Wokuotai, managed the Voledo (palace account or palace) of the entire Mongolian empire, and now there is Aobao in Wokuotai. Because our aid team has nine bans, including driving in Xinjiang, I went on foot. When I arrived at the place, I happened to meet a young man from Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, who sacrificed in front of Aobao. Later, he talked very well, or he drove me back to Emin.

The 40,000-pass Aobao Mountain is an abrupt hill beside the Laozhaichuan River, which is in line with the custom that nomadic people choose to build towers or worship at the top of the river. It used to be prosperous here. Structurally, it consists of three terraces, a big trap and a small circle. The slope of each platform is made of stone. Due to the excavation of the forest pit more than ten years ago, the terraces have been basically destroyed. From the map, only the top third terrace can still be used. In the middle of the top of the mountain is Aobao, and the remains are still there. It is not big. It is made of flaky stones and clay. It seems that the center is square and hollow, so as to put a decoration, or build a spire on it with stones. Then build a circle of stones below, and then build a circle of bigger stones below to form a big trap and a small circle of Aobao structure. Although Aobao has been destroyed, we can imagine its appearance, and we can also imagine the scene of local Mongols singing, dancing and offering sacrifices around it.

Accordingly, I thought of Huining Temple in Xiafu Development Zone. On the north side of the fence of the last building of the temple, under a ridge, there is a boulder cement "Aobao", which is euphemistically called "the first bag of good fortune, Bayanshuomei". I just want to ask, is there really an Aobao here? If it is newly built, does this "Aobao" really conform to folk customs, history and geography? Looking back, like the Aobao in the 40,000-pass, those monuments that were really built spontaneously by the Mongols in the right banner of East Tumd should be restored and protected, leaving some national things behind.
