Charming Nepal
After a month of preparation, my friends and I finally set foot on this legendary country on February 7, 20 19. When the plane entered Nepal, the passengers exclaimed and looked out of the hangar in a hurry. I saw the continuous snow-capped mountains. Wow, we saw the legendary Himalayas. It was so spectacular that everyone picked up their mobile phones and took pictures.
?
The first stop of the trip is Kathmandu. Kathmandu is an ancient city with a history of 1000 years. Founded in 723, there are more than 2,700 temples in the city. It can be said that there are more temples here than houses, and there are more gods than people, so people call this city Temple City. According to the guide's suggestion, we first went to the old and new palaces in Kathmandu, and then visited the Haruman Doka Palace. The entrance of the palace is guarded by soldiers of Rangka, who are famous for their bravery and good fighting skills. We visited the temple of the living goddess, which is the only living goddess residence in the world. Luckily for us, the goddess stood by the window for about 5 minutes. The ruins left by the earthquake can vaguely see the prosperity of the city yesterday.
? After lunch, we went to visit the world's largest circular pagoda-Boda Pagoda, commonly known as "Little Tibet". The huge white dome is extraordinary, giving people a feeling of generosity. There are two Buddha's eyes on each side of the pagoda, which means seeing through everything in the world, climbing the pyramid layer by layer, meaning bitter first and then sweet, and climbing to the top of the tower means phoenix nirvana. Boda Hafo Tower is one of the cultural heritages in Kathmandu Valley. There are people from all over the world here, some come to turn the scriptures, some come to worship Buddha, some come to enjoy the scenery, and there are many "pigeons" symbolizing peace. They pecked at the food scattered by passers-by and were not afraid at all. People live in harmony with animals.
The next day, we went to the Royal Chitawang National Park, which is located in the Dalay Plain in southern Nepal. It is the first national park in Nepal and close to the Indian border. There are many redwoods, rhinoceroses, elephants, sika deer, crocodiles, peacocks and so on. The one-horned rhino here is an extinct animal in the world. The Bengal tiger here is also a key protected animal. The Laputi River, composed of seven rivers flowing down from the Himalayas, winds through here. You can watch crocodiles lazily bask in the sun with their mouths open by canoe on the shore.
It's a little pity to sit on an elephant with uneasy feelings. The elephant has to carry four guests and five owners. It walked slowly and difficultly, listening to the birds singing, the river flowing quietly, closing its eyes, temporarily putting aside the noise of the world and enjoying the peace of this moment. Suddenly, a deer jumped out of the bush and looked at us with curious eyes. The elephant is still walking slowly, rolling on the grass by the roadside. Suddenly someone exclaimed, not far ahead, there was a rhinoceros eating grass. It didn't yell at the arrival of the elephant, as if to say: you are big, I am not small. When night comes, walk on a strange street, take a deep breath of air and wash your mind, and you may have an encounter with rhinoceros.
Next, we went to Lumbini. On the way, we saw how the local people traded goods and felt the charm of Nepalese musical instruments.
Lumbini is a holy place of Buddhism. From the ruins of the palace excavated from the ruins of Lumbini Garden, it can be seen that Buddha Sakyamuni gave up everything in the world in pursuit of bliss. The stone pillar next to King Ashoka witnessed the record of King Ashoka's pilgrimage to Lumbini 240 years ago.
? Drive from Lumbini to Ben Dibble, which is called the New Valley Cultural Museum. The folk customs here are simple, people sit at the door and bask in the sun leisurely, and dogs sleep peacefully in the middle of the road. Here, we met a group of young and energetic middle school students who were enthusiastic and curious. Lunch is eaten in the lobby at the top of the mountain. Can you imagine the feeling of seeing the snow-capped mountains in the distance? What we are eating at the moment is not a meal, but an unspeakable comfort.
Drive from Ben Dibble to Boccara, which is known as "Switzerland of Asia". Stroll around the lake, enjoy the lakes and mountains, and feel the blend of cultural heritage and national humanities. Medieval heritage buildings are full of vitality because of people, and people also reveal a peaceful and respectful national character because of the artistic influence of these traditional buildings. On the day we arrived in Boccara, the sun had set and the sky was a little gray, but that didn't stop us from visiting the lake.
On the second day in Boccara, the schedule was a bit full: watching the sunrise, taking a helicopter to Everest base camp and playing paragliding. We get up at 4 o'clock in the morning and are going to Yu Wei Peak to watch the sunrise. We came early and took a good position, waiting for the sun to come out. Around 5 o'clock, a reddish color appeared in the east and gradually turned red. In the soft light, the whole Himalayas suddenly woke up, illuminating the faces of snow-capped mountains and sunrise watchers.
Back to the hotel, I was informed by the tour guide that the helicopter could not take off because of the weather, so I changed my morning activities to paragliding. Playing paragliding, I am both looking forward to and afraid. I don't know if I can play normally when I get to the venue. After breakfast, the paragliding club sent a car to take us to the venue and signed an insurance contract before leaving. So nervous! When I arrived at the venue, I saw the paraglider flying out. I am both envious and afraid. When the coach helped me fasten my seat belt and prepare to leave, I calmed down and comforted myself and said, what are you afraid of? Set out with your eyes closed. Ascending into the air, I looked down and saw a panoramic view of Fava Lake. It's beautiful, but I feel a little dizzy. I quickly looked at the sky and sang a song about me and my motherland, pursuing and meeting. Let this song help me take away my fear. The coach hummed to me, too. I opened my hands and closed my eyes slightly. Haha, it's really romantic.
Free activities in the afternoon, walking with friends, patting, there are many distinctive houses, bars, halls, all very romantic and emotional. Walking, suddenly a band came and looked at their costumes, black clothes, white hada-like things tied to their bodies and looked at their friends. I don't know what happened. I looked back, followed by a wedding car and a gorgeous national costume.
? Feiwa Lake at dusk, like a mature woman, is full and full of connotation. Looking down from the air, there is another amazing feeling. It is so clear and elegant, just like a piece of green jade embedded in this magical land of Boccara. To make up for my regret, I left Boccara this morning and went to Fava Lake again with my friends. In the morning, Fava Lake is as quiet as a virgin, pure and pleasant, with a little mist, and it is worthy of being called "Switzerland in Asia".
The next trip is to take a propeller plane to Kathmandu, and then go to Nagakot to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset in the Himalayas. Unfortunately, the weather is not good, only fog. Teammates laughed and said: the sun in the world is the same, the fog is different, and we earned it. Leaving Nagakout, it began to rain lightly. Is it welcoming dust for our distant guests? Still want to keep us, goodbye Nepal, goodbye friendly and tolerant people!
