Natural conditions of Bahe River

Bahe Town is a lakeside area near Jinjiang, with rolling hills in the east, Wangtian Lake in the south, criss-crossing harbors, rolling hills and ridges in the north, impact plains in the southwest and northwest, and flat terrain. The highest point is Qishan, with an altitude of 3 12.8 meters, and the lowest point is Lianer Lake, with an altitude of 20 meters.

Bahe Town belongs to subtropical monsoon climate zone, with perennial climate, cold in winter and warm in spring, hot in summer and cool in autumn, with four distinct seasons, and the annual average temperature is about 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 4 1.2 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature is-10.9 degrees Celsius, the monthly average temperature is about 40 degrees Celsius, and the average temperature in July is 29 degrees Celsius. The frost-free period is 258 days (from early March to 1 1 mid-month), and the annual rainfall is generally from 1350 to 1400 mm, with a maximum of 23 10.

Bashui River passes through Xishui for 63 kilometers, with the crest elevation of 27 meters and the crest width of 6 meters. Of the 87 villages in Bahe Town, 68 are near the river, the river, the lake and the port. Over the years, each village has different flood control tasks, especially 48 villages in the Yangtze River and Bashui River Basin.
