How was the airplane invented?

The inventor of the airplane is the Wright brothers, a famous American inventor.

The Wright brothers have a natural interest in machinery since childhood, and they like to take it apart to make fun of it since childhood. One day, their father brought back a flying spiral toy and told them that it could fly very high in the air. Only then did the two brothers believe that man-made things can fly into the sky besides birds and butterflies. When they grew up, the two brothers began their mechanical aviation experiments, observed birds and started the development of airplanes.

1903 12 17, the Wright brothers made the first test flight of a fully controlled, self-powered and heavier-than-air aircraft, namely, Voyager I, the world's first aircraft. Their great inventions changed the transportation, economy, production and daily life of human beings, and also changed the military history.

Aircraft flight principle

The cross section of an airplane wing is generally blunt at the front end, sharp at the rear end, with an arched upper surface and a flat lower surface. When the same mass of air passes through the upper and lower surfaces of the wing at the same time, different flow velocities will be formed up and down the wing.

When the air passes through the upper surface of the wing, the speed is high and the pressure is low; When passing through the lower surface, the flow velocity is small and the pressure is high, so the plane will have an upward resultant force, that is, upward lift. Because of the lift, the plane can leave the ground and fly in the air. The faster the plane flies, the larger the wing area, and the greater the lift generated.
