Yangtai Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located in Bei 'anhe Village, Sujiatuo Town, northwest of Haidian District, in the middle of Haidian section of Xishan historical and cultural belt, 2.8km west of Jingmi Aqueduct, with a total area of 16km2 from the Summer Palace. Mount Yang runs from north to south, and the gully runs from east to west. Its main peak is1278m above sea level, which is the highest peak in Haidian District. In spring (March-April), apricot blossom, peach blossom, pear blossom, apple blossom and cherry blossom in Yangtai Mountain bloom for the second time, and bloom in the distance. In summer, the spring water gurgles, clearing the heart and improving eyesight; In autumn, the reflection of colorful paintings is dyed in layers of forest; In winter, the snow presses the pines and the silver dragons dance.

There are many kinds of plants and rich vegetation layers in the scenic spot, among which ancient and famous trees account for 5 1.9% of Haidian District, and the vegetation coverage rate is as high as 90%. Yang Tai has been a natural scenic spot since ancient times. During the Zhang Zong period of Jin Dynasty, among the famous "Xishan Bashui Gardens", Jinshui Garden (Jinshan Temple), Xiangshui Garden (Fayun Temple) and Qingshui Garden (University Hall) were all located in Yang Tai. Yang Tai is a famous mountain in the suburbs of Beijing and one of the eight scenic spots in Western Hills in Liao Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a temple fair was held in Miao Feng from the first day to the fifteenth day of the fourth lunar month, and thousands of pilgrims arrived in Miao Feng, Jinding, along the ancient incense road in Yang Tai. There are still many remains of ancient incense roads and tea sheds. Green valley, backed by green hills, has forests, springs and temples.
