Brief introduction of Jinji Lake

Jinji Lake is located in Suzhou Industrial Park. Compared with the antique ancient city, the high-rise buildings and modernization here show another side of Suzhou. Jinji Lake is slightly larger than Hangzhou West Lake. Every day, many tourists come to the lake for a walk or shopping or eating delicious food. Newcomers also like to take wedding photos here.

The scenic spot has four entrances and is an open park. You can enter from any entrance. Ordinary tourists will enter from the west entrance. There is a subway near the entrance, and you can see the new landmark of Suzhou-the Oriental Gate skyscraper, commonly known as "big underpants". There is a bicycle rental point at the subway exit. If you want to ride a bike by the lake, you can rent a bike here.

The west entrance is Lakeside Xintiandi, the entrance of Lakeside Avenue. There is a pleasant and hydrophilic wooden corridor, and there are many bronze statues of artistic simulators standing beside the avenue. When the weather is fine, you can see many people running or cycling here. The grassland by the lake is suitable for picnics, barbecues and flying kites. You can also see the "Harmony" sculpture standing by the lake. In addition, if you have enough time, you can also buy a boat ticket from Wanghuge Wharf in the west of the lake to visit Taohua Island in the middle of Jinji Lake Scenic Area. In the peach blossom season, the whole Peach Blossom Island is purple.

After visiting the west entrance, you can walk or take water bus to Gong Li Dam Pier at Wang Hu Pier. Gongliba is the only long dike of Jinji Lake in Suzhou, which retains the traditional Suzhou residential buildings. You can visit Gong Li Dam International Style Commercial Water Street, where there are foreign brands and domestic time-honored brands. Or you can take a free train on Fengqing Street (extra fees may be charged on holidays) and visit the scenic spots in this area, such as the Foundation Museum, the Extreme Sports Ground, the Hu Xin Pavilion, Lingyun Bridge and the Li Chaoqiong Poetry Monument.

If you are a couple or bring your children to play, you can also take the water bus directly to the opposite Moonlight Pier at Wanghuge Pier, or enter directly from the north entrance of the scenic spot, which is the modern leisure plaza. Suzhou Culture and Art Center, known as the "Bird's Nest in Suzhou", connects Hongfenglin landscape with Suzhou International Expo Center, and has a grand theater, a film city, a performance hall and so on. You can take photos here or watch 3D movies at the Cultural Center.

People who like to play games can walk to the Ferris wheel park. The buildings in the park are all European. You can sit on the Ferris wheel and overlook the whole lake. In addition, there are hanging roller coasters and go-karts, which are all worth visiting. Of course, try to avoid visiting on holidays. There will be many people waiting in line to ride the ferris wheel.

After visiting these projects during the day, the night view of Jinji Lake is not to be missed. At night, you can pay to take a cruise from Moonlight Pier in the east of the lake or Wanghuting Pier in the west of the lake. The whole journey takes about 40 minutes, and some scenic spots visited during the day will be passed along the way.

In addition, the Jinji Lake Bridge at night should not be missed. The colorful digital waterfalls made by high-tech means such as digital lighting fly off the bridge. When they "flow", they will present different patterns and characters, which will become a beautiful scenery of Jinji Lake at night.
