I want to equip my Nikon D7000 with a UV lens. Which one do you think is better?

First, it must be said that UV is basically useless, at least the effect is not visible to the naked eye. The reason is that digital cameras have an internal UV filter function.

Second, purple fringing has nothing to do with ultraviolet rays.

Then I started to recommend, a Kengo protective goggle, a Kengo L37, and a Phoenix L37 that I just bought some time ago. Of course, you can also use the Nice one. There is no need to consider anything else for the time being.

The advantages of Kenco protective glasses have no impact on the image quality. The disadvantage is that it has no purpose other than protecting the lens. Not waterproof.

Kengo L37. The advantages of super coating are huge. The picture is brighter and more pure. Although it is very small, you can still feel it by comparing the two pictures. Other color casts, tones, and light transmission are all very good. Disadvantages: Too many fakes, early filters, hard to wipe off, not waterproof

Phoenix L37. It has all the advantages of Kenco L37. On this basis, it is added with anti-fall and waterproof (especially waterproof, which is very useful. This is also a problem why W+B is so expensive. When I get dirty, I just rinse it with water, then wipe it with a napkin, and then blow it with air. It's clean. But other filters are completely messed up and still leave water marks. Moreover, other UV filters cannot be used in foggy weather, and they will be covered with water vapor after a while. Just wipe it directly on the inner surface. The disadvantage is that the single filter works very well, but when combined with my plug-in filter, the color cast is large, and the color cast with the Kengo L37 is not noticeable to the naked eye, so I use other filters, such as CPL and GND. I have to remove it. It may be a coating problem.

Conclusion: 1. Choose the one with more coating. 3. Choose the expensive one, but the film is not effective. Still very effective.
