Why do some people sweat easily, while others seldom sweat?
Especially in hot summer, or after strenuous exercise, everyone will sweat, and it is strange not to sweat.
This is because we have to keep a constant temperature, that is, 36 to 37 degrees. Above this temperature, it is not normal, and the temperature should be adjusted by sweating.
However, in the same external environment, engaged in the same labor and sports, or at the same indoor and outdoor temperatures, some people are sweating, even sweating, while others are indifferent.
Especially in the same room, with air conditioning on, some people feel cool and some people feel a little hot. I hope to turn up the temperature of the air conditioner. There are two completely different reactions at the same temperature. What is the reason?
We know that sweating is to regulate body temperature. It is normal to sweat when exercising or encountering high temperature, but it is not normal to sweat easily, which is not necessarily a good thing. According to Chinese medicine, your constitution is yin deficiency or kidney deficiency. It is easy to sweat. If you sweat too much, you will be dehydrated.
It is not normal to sweat less, and it is not necessarily a good thing. If you sweat less when it is extremely hot, it is what Chinese medicine says is that you are afraid of cold, indicating that the yang in your body is insufficient.
If you are weak and encounter high temperature or strenuous exercise at the same time, but you can't sweat well, it means that water accumulates in the body and cannot be discharged through normal channels.
In this case, the moisture in your body will obviously increase, and your yang will not be accumulated, which will further damage the yang.
Some friends sweat more and less, which has little to do with yin and yang. It's probably because sweat glands are underdeveloped or lacking.
In addition, if people have some diseases, they may not be able to sweat normally when they encounter heat, such as scleroderma, skin atrophy and other skin diseases, which will lead to limited anhidrosis, and if you suffer from nephritis, diabetes and malignant tumors, it will also lead to less sweating or anhidrosis.
So, what are the conditions for sweating?
First, night sweats
In other words, people will sweat as soon as they sleep, and even sweat will soak bedding and pajamas, and sometimes they will even be awakened by sweat and hot air. If they wake up, the sweating will stop.
This is night sweats. If you have night sweats, you will have fever, dry mouth, chest tightness, upset and other symptoms. This may be due to your deficiency of heart and blood caused by yin deficiency, which leads to internal heat.
Second, spontaneous sweating
Self-perspiration is self-perspiration, which is what we all often call love sweating. Even if the weather is not so hot and there is no strenuous exercise, it is easy to sweat on the chest and back. If it is after the activity, it will be even more sweaty.
This kind of person is often accompanied by weakness of limbs, easy to get tired, afraid of wind and cold in winter, and easy to catch a cold as soon as it cools down. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that lung qi deficiency is weak and the body surface is not solid.
Third, the head is sweating.
Some people only sweat on their heads, which is said to be pathogenic heat in upper energizer in Chinese medicine, and it is also a sign of physical weakness. Early recovery from serious illness or more common in the elderly.
Fourth, sweating
Some people are afraid of cold on the surface, but when it is moving, their hands and feet are hot, and even their palms and soles will sweat with heat. This is hyperhidrosis, not normal. This disease is often related to heredity, but it may also be caused by excessive secretion of sweat glands due to excessive excitement of sympathetic nerves.
In addition, diseases such as hyperthyroidism and hypoglycemia may also lead to excessive sweating.
If it is kidney deficiency and qi deficiency and sweating, it is necessary to replenish blood and qi, often eat dried yam, yam slices, drink yam soup, or eat beef and mutton to replenish qi and blood.
If it is night sweats caused by yin deficiency, you may wish to eat nourishing yin foods such as lotus seed porridge and Sydney water, and try to eat less hot foods such as onions, ginger, garlic and mutton.
If the disease causes hyperhidrosis and hypohidrosis, then by tracing the source and treating related diseases, abnormal sweating will be improved.
