Since the Shanmu River rafting tourism project was launched in 1995, our county has improved the Shanmu River infrastructure year by year, and has successively built new tourist trails, tourist public toilets, parking lots, rafting starting points, landing points, and tourist ticket management center, parking lot, tourist service center, observation building, etc., and in 2006, a sightseeing driveway from Luojiatian to Jiangjiatian was built, and the tourism quality and reception capacity have been continuously improved. At present, the daily reception capacity of Shanmuhe has reached 5,000 people. In 2007, Shanmuhe received 90,000 tourists and generated direct income of 13.5 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19% and 18%. It encouraged surrounding people to participate in the development of tourism product sales, barbecue and other service projects, generating an annual income of 11.2 million yuan.
